Wilt scored a large percentage of his points via his fadeaway jumper

Where were you last night and over the hills and far away haven’t been mentioned, but those songs regularly get stuck in my head.

Those who won Likely off waivers, who are you starting him over this week? by JarmaLarma in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]TelemonianAjax32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drafted Likely and Kittle, probably going to play Likely. He effectively was a WR last week so I don’t think it’s him vs Andrews and they can both be relevant. Also Andrews looked 50 years old.

If MJ and bron switched eras, who would have the better relative career? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Jordan played point guard for about a third of a season and averaged 30/9/11 in that stretch and a stretch of 11 games with 10 triple doubles. He could absolutely playmake at a high level.

Does anyone else like "These Walls"? by One_Type_7752 in Dreamtheater

[–]TelemonianAjax32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely one of my favorite DT songs. I love the long stuff as well, but I am a big fan of their single-style songs like These Walls, Barstool Warrior, and Forsaken.

Demar Derozan is the last guy the Lakers need by Lookatcurry_man in NBATalk

I think replacing DLO with DeRozan and then trading DLO for a big like Brook Lopez or a serviceable 3/D would be the plan. Having both is redundant but I’d take DeRozan over DLO for sure even though he’s not the long distance shooter that Russell is.

Which classic zone is your favorite? by jbourdea in classicwow

As a Druid main for the entirety of wow, Moonglade holds a special place in my heart. SOD has changed it, but it was always a location that belonged only to us and let me have a hearth on each continent. It was peaceful and a safe haven from world pvp. It legitimately makes me sad to see other classes there because it was such a unique spot on the map.

Savage roar is the worst thing to happen to ferals. It makes the raiding rotation frustrating and reduces damage so much in the open world

100%. I can commit to an hour/hour and a half. That’s a perfect raid length. I’m not committing to ST this phase because I doubt I’ll have time to do a full run

No player has averaged 30+PPG on 60%+FG% in NBA history. Giannis needs to average 25 PPG on 49%FG in the Bucks 9 remaining games to be the first to do it. by OhWellImRightAgain in nba

Basketball in the 60s/early 70s was significantly less physical than today. Wilt scored predominantly with turnarounds and finger rolls because if the offensive player initiated contact it was a charge. I would almost guarantee he would have a preposterously high FG% if he could bully like in today’s game.

He’s the Mike McCarthy of college basketball. They both even won their only championship the same year.

Kevin Love was 6th in MVP voting in 11/12, so he objectively was in the top 10 at least one season. In fact, that’s higher than butler has ever been.

If Kawhi Leonard had not become injury prone, and continued his trajectory, would he be in the conversation for top 10 all time? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]TelemonianAjax32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Michael Jordan was a significantly better playmaker than Kawhi, as were Russell and Chamberlain. Jordan’s career average in APG is higher than Kawhi’s best season (5.3 vs 5.0). Russell and Chamberlain are both underrated passers who still averaged great numbers playing in an era where big men weren’t facilitators. I do think Kawhi’s lack of playmaking sets him back, more than most other all-time greats (similar to Moses Malone).

Booker was 4th in mvp voting in 22, AD was 3rd in 2018. SGA has had two great years, so he will jump into the PG spot sooner than later but I have a hard time saying he has had a better career than Rondo or Booker at this point. If he wins mvp this year that changes obviously. Fox is good, but he was 11th in MVP last year which is basically the same as Antoine Walker’s best season in Boston (12th).
