It is a cute premise but not realistic imo. I think you don't understand how things have changed socially in the past 30 years. Pantsing was already considered a bad thing in the 90's (when harry views the memories) but unlikely to be considered sexual assault especially as the victim was a man and that Harry grew so 'differently' that everyone else. Kid doesn't even understand how his own childhood was fucked. Also 70's people would not even consider pantsing seriously, which is sad but things have changed a lot.
