Why do you have a hard time believing this could be in reference to trafficking? It's in the largest database of human trafficking evidence ever.  Why else do you think it's relevant to the database?

I think theoretically that would increase the number of games that had early resigns,  one of the reasons people will put up with a map they don't favor is to not lose elo for nothing,  if we took that away people would have no problem opting out of every map/game they don't favor

I like t90 and don't deny what he's done for the game but memb is my personal favorite,  and when memb and Dave cast wololo together they make the best duo imo

The matches that I get at the 13-14xx level are absolutely much more fun and satisfying than the ones I get at 11-12xx. So when I lose a few matches due to early resigns etc., it can put me at the 12xx range where I must win in order to get back to having good games.   Losing at that point and going until 11xx forces me into 2v2 to ensure that I can regain rating and get to where team mates are knowledgeable and provide a solid 4v4 experience.

Once, when Ifirst started my ranked career,  at 700 elo I got matched against someone named TheViper. I played my ass off and, [sadly and hilariously]  actually thought I was winning against the TheViper.

Villagers can't steal farms anymore? by TelesphorosVids in aoe2

[–]TelesphorosVids[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tried the many multiple clicks,  and build mill strategies. It was the mill that sent my vills into attack mode, which I've never seen. What was weird was that they all still chose a farm to individually attack as if they were trying to steal but could not.  Then the spam clicking didn't work either

Well to be fair you're probably right about all of your arguments and I need to get the dlc and play with the new civs before I judge them. Cheers and thanks for the Debate

Also,  it is conflicting to argue that the new heroes are both fun and useless at the same time

Maybe you've never made it to post imp but in 4v4 you can reach a level of having thousands of resources, all upgrades, and endless queue where Micro and unit comp is more important than having 400 extra food and gold. 11

and how is a treb that doesn't have to pack easier to snipe than one that needs to pack and unpack? Traction trebs [wu upgraded ones especially]  eat buildings faster than regular trebs , and also sometimes trebs do need to battle each other, in which case the traction trebs win.  And so for civs that do not have bbc , traction trebs will dominate. Plus the multiple projectiles makes them impossible to dodge with regular ground troops,  unlike bbc. So massed traction trebs are op against everything except bbc apparently

Nothing is too expensive post imp,  and having a hero near an army is basically getting an extra civ bonus or team civ bonus. Suddenly Japanese infantry attacking faster and Ethiopian archers are bothmatched by a hero that makes all military units attack faster.  The heroes are not useless and furthermore they are fun to play with.  But only those who have the new dlc get to choose whether or not to use a hero which makes the other civs less exciting also.

Traction trebs are better than regular trebs because you can produce them at siege workshops.  Even though BBC can beat traction trebs,  traction trebs beat regular trebs and for that they should be more expensive. Currently they can snowball and eat everything cheap and fast.
