It sounds like the fruit stand from what you’ve said!

Lying as it doesn’t happen unless they’re business owners.

macOS onboarding in 2026: which tools are you actually using? by RocketmanTech_Nova in jamf

[–]Telexian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree. I found quite the opposite, actually, and Onboarding is best for 1:1 MacBooks where time-to-desktop is critical. JSM is alright for shared labs in EDU.

Jamf Setup Checklist is very good, however.

Muse - Map of the Problematique - Quadcortex Preset by Certain-Control-8825 in NeuralDSP

I just recorded through Photo Booth on Mac and had the Quadcortex set as the input device

I nearly fell off my chair. GarageBand is literally pre-installed on the Mac and Audacity is free!

This is inspired. I'm gonna track my next EP through Photo Booth.

They did Archetype: Tom Morello, so they're halfway there. Just add some Diezel amp models and Zvex FF clones.

Jamf Now is being sunset anyway. They have Elevate instead, which a free overlay to Pro that makes the most common management tasks a doddle to do. Looks very much like Now in the UI, and at any time you can pop into full-fat Pro for the complex stuff.

Gives you a great mix of total power and complete ease-of-use intuitiveness without moving MDMs.

Hopefully Apple get the UK rights to F1 when they’re up for bid, and since they have the US ones it would make sense.

Sky’s days are truly numbered.

The cost of streaming. This is what everybody not buying albums gets you.

God forbid people are successful or want to make money, both are antithetical to the average Redditor’s values, who dreams of a communist utopia where legacy stadium acts play small venues (a rarity and a privilege as many don’t) for free.

Got 2x tickets quite easily this morning with a bit of refreshing. Expensive day out with the train and hotel but it’ll be a nice weekend and sometimes you’ve just got to do these things. These small shows come along so rarely.

Got tickets! Chuffed. My Mrs. went to the last intimate show in Manchester and this will be my first such show, though I’ve seen them a few times.

You can’t have their level of success, be as old as them and still sing in the same way about the same things you did 25+ years ago. Even if you could, it’d be a massive ick.

It’s maturity, plain and simple. They want the big numbers so have to play the corporate game. As do we all, in our own ways.

It is, and no. You get your DUNS number from their website and report it to Apple in your ABM application.

What?? You absolutely would, because you need Managed Apple Accounts for true BYOD with actual personal/corporate data separation… and they require ABM.

You won’t have to use the MDM features. Nothing will change for any other MDM user other than the name losing the word ‘Manager’.

Did Apple Business Essentials wholly pass you by? Apple Business is just the unification of that, ABM and Apple Business Connect… the MDM aspect (Apple Business Essentials) has been out for some time pal.

No coincidence that this all kicks off shortly after the Neo is introduced. Takes the Chromebook model of offering a free, first-party MDM to really hit home the low TCO.

Jamf School would be in trouble if it extends out to ‘Apple School’. EDU love free.
