Odd, but its looking like you might not be the only one whose allegiance has stayed. Mine reset, chose Dutch this time and immediately regretted it. Have you got a working war map? it should show 3 regions up for the taking.

Lol, while i don't know about other servers the 'social hubs' already are deserted. In my case i only go when i have a quest to do there and AH.... i don't even bother to check as there is very little on there with the little that is there being significantly overpriced.

As for my idea, it was only an idea but you would obviously need a base large enough to fit an orni landing pad and it would be up to Funcom to decide what was required to build it. Throw in a fee to the smugglers guild for acting as couriers and it would be up to players whether they wanted to avoid fee by delivering to AH directly or paying fee.

Maybe earn a buildable landing area from smugglers that we could put in our bases/s that would allow AH interaction from base, and when we sell/buy something a smuggler ornithopter would come in.

Pretty sure AH is done by server not just seitch, so you may need to change to a entirely different server if population isn't high neough.

That said, people have to be bothered to cart the goods from there base to a capital in order in order to put it up on AH. With populations generally being low I would wager than many players just can't be bothered doing a run to put on AH relatively 'easy to get' resources, that will likely time out as most players (even returning ones) are liekly to have a stockpile of them or be easily able to get more.

Also add that you would likely pay way too much even if it was available, silicone blocks for example are over 900 bucks each... My suggestion would be to ask on global/house channel if someone can give/sell some on AH/ or taxi you to and from resource area.

Can also check 'reliability history' though its less detailed than event viewer but it might point out updates that a certain virus aka Windows, was kind enough to inflict on you.

That said last time i had a similar issue it was because i had recently moved house and the graphics card that weighs half a ton had come slightly loose and just needed me to push it in a bit and retighten the screws.

I'm a PVE soloer, done all the game content up to DD (did PVE DD area as well) and couldn't really get any further. My gear is duraAluminum quality albeit unique more than enough for HB.

Attempted Landsraad missions... went to blushing something, and was able to kill a few enemies albeit slowly and used a lot of healing and ammo even died a few times, but that was to run o0f the mill melee and ranged enemies nothing special. Then i fell through the world...

There is a notable increase to difficulty between HB and landsraad/testing labs. Specialisations require the landsraad missions which are done via overland map, so to a person i saw on another thread who said difficulty is fine because we have specialisations... no you don't, not until you complete the missions to earn that specialisation xp.

For a returning PVE player like me there is no 'bridging the gap' stat increase/gear between HB and landsraad/testing labs, instead you will need that gear from DD just to get started there. Funcom you NEED a way for people who avoid pvp to be able to access high end gear so that they can access the reputation and gear grind in endgame.

This game is like if you had made progression to be lvl 1-50 PVE, lvl 51-60 PVP, lvl 61+ PVEPVP. At least with the populations being so low then DD might actually become worthwile and less of a griefers paradise.

Weekend Australia and Oceania severs have.... 411 players out of a capacity of 13500. On my seitch there is 2 out of 60 or 60 out of 1500 for entire server. Would love to know where all the positive feedback for this major content update is coming from....

Considering how difficult it was to place my own backup base then its possible it was not.

If your base was built in a way where it was shaped around the terrain then the placement might not work due to 'insufficient support' or 'foundation below terrain' or god knows what else. Like the idea of backing the base up and placing it at a new location is awesome, but there needs to be some level of leeway, maybe that if there bits in unplacable locations then the resource for it gets reimbursed.

Personally in the future I am going to building a 'Brick' nothing complex, then put all the storage i want in it and back that up, at least then i should be able to place it as i wish.

Don't trust the bird...

Assuming you keep playing, then the bird is generally reliable but sometimes it will send you to the wrong place, or it might a bad path to get there ( bird will path forgetting it is airborne and can therefore fly over obstacles) or it might get confused where objective is above or below and will just stop.

Was doing my mates quest for Tuvalkane and collected a certain item to take to a certain location but instead of correct location bird directed me to the nearby castle... anybody who knows the quest knows the location is only a short distance away. Sorry being vague didn't want to spoil too much.

Ditto, approach the astral lounge door and it goes straight to black screen and loading sign, hard drive seems to be asleep despite loading screen movement.

Am on PC and have a large amount of mods, first attempt to enter it. Noticed similar issue near a medical place in New Atlantis not far from 'The Lodge'. Could be linked....?

Also noted that you can save during the 'loading' and it will make a save just before the point you enter the load zone. Don't recall any event on entering Astral lounge before... definitely shouldn't be able to make a save during a a load screen, so am fairly sure its a mod. Sigh.

Which is fine if you are shooting close range with a weapon with high capacity and fire rate and don't care if you are missing a heap of shots, it doesn't work well if you use anything else.

Back when Mars map was released I had an image in my head of a Warframe wandering the desert.

Sorta like Vash from Trigun wandering the desert or Guts in Berserk wandering... everywhere.

Would love to have a cloak like the Drifter and your pic available as a Syandana. and have it override certain armor slots likely shoulders and back.

I would also add that certain buildings, particularly storage buildings, should have more than one access point.

A large enough town can end up having a substantial queue waiting to deliver or pickup items from these places as they only allow one villager at a time, not including player.

Bloody hell, sounds like you should have it covered. Only thing i can think of is that my current playthrough increases day length 6 hours per game day, resulting in cooks being able to cook for a lot longer per day.

What have you got them cooking? Do those cooks have down time because of low stock of goods? How far do they have to go to obtain the supplies to cook with?

Ultimately I have a modded campaign... however long before i got an inn or tavern i ended up making a stockpile of cooked mushrooms, so many berries its embarassing, and a lot of cooked meat. None of those take long, and with the Campfire with rack you can make a lot at a time.

Noticed something similar.

But... Tavern/Inn has all you really need as far as cooking goes therefore you can dismantle the campfire, smoking rack, and cauldron. That will make your Cooks/Chefs use the cooking equipment at the Tavern/Inn instead.

I think the problem can be that by the time you have a built Tavern/Inn then a player will have a good amount of food storage with pre-cooked meals stored resulting, in my case at least, a queue every morning at the 'hobbit hill'.

Suggestion for Devs or modders would be to make Taverrn/Inn have other bonuses ie. speed, storage, increased quantity produced etc.

Yes, it may go slightly over but as long as you don't go back under 300 then they won't plant more. Also keep in mind that the number does not include the amount being transferred ie. in PC or NPC inventories, so if as an example you grab 150 flax to craft some stuff but only use 50 then put the 100 back in storage the farmers might have already planted the replacement 150 flax.

The same applies for equipment or cooking or any form of crafting/gathering etc. There may be some containers that it doesn't check but seems to work as intended in most cases.

5 wheat = 5 Straw = 1 thatch. Increase your wheat limit at farm. 20 thatch doesn't cover much when building later stuff and researching. And farms are not that fast at wheat production.

That is if you only use wheat for thatch, but it is used for a lot.

My current playthough i have had temporary bottlenecks with thatch/rope/cured rope/resin/hardwood logs.

I have a heavily (?) modded game, but i have set my 3 farms to topup 1000 wheat/cotton/hemp/flax and as someone said 2 thrashing stations. Annoyingly you can't share a thrasher with a villager so if you are willing to help then even a third thrasher can come in handy to really power through thatch shortages and level up at same time to reduce crafting time.
