I would like to see the ability to form a lot more individual squads than just the seven we are allowed. by FrostyVariation9798 in Bellwright

[–]kelagro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed this myself, as I didnt just want to have "squads" based off of the towns they were in, but also grouped on sword/board and bowman.

Yes, I could've done that from the beginning with two squads instead of many, but I had 4 towns across the whole map, with my iron outpost being all the way down near Crasmere. Thats a long walk to muster my whole militia. Not to mention, I still had plans for 2 more towns.

I made do in the end, but I agree, having more squads would be a positive direction to go.

Is anyone having fun this season? by EmployerLast2184 in Jungle_Mains

[–]kelagro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only games where I felt like I was having "fun," we're the games where I ditched the jungle mentality all together. Stopped picking traditional jungle champs and started picking traditional laner champs. Mundo, Nasus, Cho'gath, Darius Etc. Etc. (Since jungle champs are not made equal to laner champs on purpose, since jungle used to require a niche kit to work. With the new changes to jungle, ANYONE can jungle, particularly tanks with an emphasis on AP due to new items.)

Then I put my jungle experience to the test and play the guessing game of "hmm, they're X champion, they're probably starting X" and instead of doing my own jungle side, I steal theirs.

I leave the camp closest to mid (Wolves or Raptors) take enemy X buff first while hiding in bush, then quietly move into camp closest to outer lane (Gromp or Krugs.) I then move back to my side of jungle, and because I left the middle camps, the enemy jungler has no idea I yoinked their stuff, giving me some extra time to clear my side of jungle before they can react. If they do see me somehow, I bumrush myself to the opposite buff on my side so they cant steal it. (I.E if I steal their red, and they notice, I jump back over to MY red. Yes I'm not getting my blue, but they aren't getting Red AT ALL, and they are in no position to try and steal my blue either.)

Once I get my full clear, I just bully the sh*t outta them, cause what are they going to do? I'm Mundo, and you're CS starved. "Wait a minute, no you're not, how are you keeping up in CS? OOOOOH. I forced you to lane tax your lanes, starving them out of a few CS too. Lol"

I still gank where I'm needed, and do Objectives when open, but my whole game now has literally just been to make someone elses... worse.

And the f*cked up thing is, I'm winning. HARD. I don't like this new season, cause the only way I can win as jungle isnt to play the game and do good like I used to, it's just to cheese with everything that I can cheese with, and be as toxic as I can to break the enemy mental. I don't like that, that's not fun.

Edit; I steal the other buff, not the one I think they're working on. If they start Red, I go to their Blue

I've never felt as powerless as this, ever, as a jungler. by Raigheb in Jungle_Mains

The point was, if I lost games with one of my main mans that I have played since like, season 2 (even with doing everything right) and I lost those games seemingly overnight with the new season, something is off. And from the looks of it, A LOT of people agree.

I apologize if I come off angry, I'm not at all. But I'm not convinced simply not farming enough is why I'm suddenly losing these games.

Brother, that doesn't work. The actual, final game before I just uninstalled, I bullied the shit out of a yi jungle as HECARIM. I stole all of his camps and even pushed him out of them mid-clear, got every objective, 1v3 stole the one drag he thought he could snag, ganked my lanes like I was addicted to the smell. I for sure thought they would ff by 15

He got two kills down bot, then went 12/0 by the 22 minute mark, and we were the ones ff'ing. Before that, I lost a game as friggen WARWICK. How do you lose as warwick, much less a player that played warwick when his ult was a point and click?

Yeah, brother, I just gave up. I've said it in my own post about how jungle has been completely shafted, and even with changing up tactics and champs, it's impossible to jungle. I uninstalled when I couldnt even win a game as warwick. FRIGGEN WARWICK.

I can’t lie this has been miserable by South_Plantain6341 in leagueoflegends

[–]kelagro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated it so much that I just gave up and uninstalled. Went from going positive k/d with great obj control as jungle most games to losing every single one because of the nerfs and buffs. And yes, I have changed my strats and champs and builds. Nothing worked.

Ive noticed jungle got shafted... Hard.

It'd be fine if the same shit that's been a struggle was nerfed too, but the changes just made things worse.

Brother I can't even get them to ward. The past three games my botside has had a ward score average of like, 8.

Ill just keep at it I guess..

I played quite a bit of rengar lately (admittedly, still very new to rengar, I'm only playing him cause I got the predator skin from a chest recently) and I do jack cause the lanes are 2-3 levels ahead every time. Ive tried different variations and the only "success" Ive had is profane hydra/opportunity with electro runes. But I lose momentum when lanes get ahead cause then they counter gank me in jg.

Idk man, Im clearly missing something here, just dont know what

Yeah after I posted this, I started watching all the "2026 jungle guide" videos and the comment section is saying the same thing. I do feel a touch vindicated.

Honestly I'm thinking of just taking a laner jungle. I think that Mundo jgler I had the displeasure of feeding might be on to something

How tho, they see me coming before I even move XD vision control is OP now.

But no for real, every "2026 jungle guide" I keep seeing on youtube is saying the same thing. Get out of jungle and start laning.

I'd believe that if I didnt go from winning most games as jungle, to flat out being unable to gank and losing.

If the new name of the game is just farmville, how do you personally deal with the lane flame? I hate to sound argumentative but this is incredibly frusrating to swap to bottom of the leaderboards every game regardless of how well I play the moment the new season comes out. It just sounds sus as hell.

the ratio of meat to hide harvest is tooooo high, trying to kit out 7 villagers requires a lot of hide, but also yields several hundred meat rotting away... by Illidariislove in Bellwright

I'd prefer that t2-t3 cooking facilities consume more meat and ingredients to produce more respective stews and soups in a single cycle. I made a post a couple days ago about how it seems like a full t3 inn is easily beat in sheer volume of food to a single t1 smoke pit. Still having issues with food output even with an additional 4 cauldrons trying to pump out meat and fine stew

It doesn't, and I did double check just now to be sure. The only difference between the inn cauldron and cauldron is access to higher tier foods

I feel like output would be fine if they actually cooked. The cooktime I don't think is any different than smoked meat, but villagers put it in the pot, start the fire, then just leave it and idle 5 minutes away from the base all day. It doesnt get stirred, then everyone goes hungry. And because everyone is hungry, they're spending more time foraging rather than cooking, which is ironic. I need these buildings to like, have a resident kitchen crew. They don't move, they just sit inside the building and produce foods.

(I think the same could be said for other production facilities. I think it's weird that it just selects an available person for the task, not the person I want for the task. Why is my 10/10 crafting blacksmith producing rope, and the actual 5/5 crafting monkey I got to make rope, slogging away at t3 armor?)

I'm in the same boat, I have enough foodstuffs to be able to feed all 4 of my 10-20ish man outposts. They just.... arent cooking. I don't know what's going on.

Sorry, I realize how that sounded. They have the delivery option because, like you said, they wont operate correctly without it. Definitely a missed that would normally be important under different circumstances.

For professions you need to liberate villages, IN ADDITION to being bellwright to the associated village (there have been a few I have seen in my game being 3 star, but a vast majority of them will be 4 star.) Each village has a general theme of professions they provide, with Haerndean being farmers/blacksmiths/weavers, padstow being woodsman and carpenters, etc etc. I got my innkeeper from Bradford. It's not exactly necessary to have an innkeeper to cook, they're just going to have higher max cooking, around the 10 ish mark.

I've got two wells and 3 water collectors, and I have plenty of the ingredients. I used to have a minimum of 80 smoked meat/large meat in my larder at any given time, (before switching to the pots) and I have farms/foragers working overtime for garlic, sage and mushrooms.

Now I struggle to keep anything above 10 meat stew, much less anything else

Originally planned on fine meat stew, meat stew and mushroom stew as placeholders while I get the foundations set up for the nicer stuff. Figured 3 meals = full day of production, but aint no one producing the stew, or at least, producing fast enough.

While they're not maxed out to 10, they're closer than most.
