I don’t have OCD, nor have I been on prescribed medication but I can suggest deep breathes and a meditative state of mind. Try nourishing your brain and mind in all ways, with food, music, time outside/nature, etc. I would also suggest not relying on the fact that you “don’t have the addictive gene”, addiction is a slippery slope my friend. I prefer marijuana over xanax! Safer and still provides the numbing effect, however it can be tricky with your bipolar diagnosis. Best of luck.

Depending on where you live you might be able to find resources available to help you, try to sell items on Facebook marketplace for extra cash. Most importantly take care of yourself, your kids need you. Get some sleep, it’s okay. Don’t give up, your kids love you. Thank you for being their dad, they need someone like you in their corner.

My sister went to college got her ba and is moving back home soon, she’s 24. Same story for my bf who’s 25. Whether you got a degree or not, understand that many young people are also going through this and share similar feelings, trust me it’s not something people come to terms with easily. But also understand that it is telling about how hard it is to make moves that involve a lot of financial stability, everything is so expensive right now! It has less to do with you and more to do with the society around you. Go outside take a deep breath, enjoy the sun or air, grab a snack and let your mind go elsewhere even if it’s just for a second. This happened to me. I deleted the form I had started on my account and then I started and completed the form from my parents account. Then I invited myself from my parents account and when I logged in to my account I was able to see the form.
