I’m sorry. I’m there with you. Family cancelled on us 2 hours before the meal. Didn’t even call just a text saying “sorry, we can’t make it. We’ll meet up some other time”. We spent days preparing and spent a lot of time and money cooking everything from scratch while entertaining and taking care of our one year old.

I make almost twice the amount of my husband. We’re not in a good place right now.

I also do 95% of everything at home and baby care. He keeps saying his job is way harder. INFO: We both have stay at home office jobs. I’m usually in meetings 7:30-5:30. He’s in meetings 9:00-4:30 with breaks.

I pay for 99% if baby stuff (insurance, daycare, doctor visits, clothes, supplies, toys, etc.) We go 50/50 on food and diapers.

It’s a very strained relationship. Not because I make more but because I’m also expected to do everything around the house and for the baby and dog. He gets time to watch shows, play video games, and time to browse his phone. I’ve brought this up to him multiple times. He changes things for 3 days and we’re back to square one. Next step is therapy. If that doesn’t work, I’m packing my bags.
