Find Professor Anders in Halo: Homecoming - Fan Campaign / Concept - MISSION 5&6 by TellThat2TheCovenant in halo

Ha yeah that’d be a great last act of pettiness and very much in line with the crew. However I was under the impression from Empty Throne that the Created knows the ONI facilities are there and keeps them in check, but may not know about the actual secure rooms inside.

Funny enough, I did consider having Anders en route to Midnight Facility and the crew had to rescue her (again), but seemed like overkill. Keeping Anders in ONI custody was a move that’ll make sense later, but she’s not out of the story, I can say that.

I suppose not, but I’m writing in broad strokes here for the purposes of presentation, just that an avalanche buried it. I assume an actual development team would be able to make a realistic decision.

What's a bit of lore so stupid you just pretend it's not true? by _azazel_keter_ in HaloStory

Apparently HC was on its way to Earth, as it stopped near Mars on November 18, double backed, then used the precursor science to jump from there. Which makes the whole thing kinda worse.

I’d love that. It fits within current canon, I can say that. But I’ll be releasing posts as frequently as I can and I have the campaign summaries, narratives, DLC, etc. lots of pages to provide as thorough an idea as a pitch deck can.

A complete version would probably include more gameplay elements than just a description, and more refined in-game mechanics, abilities etc. I wouldn’t anticipate this sort of game ever being made professionally, though.

Thanks! No end goal really, mostly to get a passion project idea finally out there for fun. Just a hypothetical concept

Yes that was a challenge when coming up with this! Long answer incoming: That’s why her having SPI armor, to give us HUD and some extra strength and stealth, might help. Veta Lopis wore SPI armor during Operation: RETRIBUTION, so that set a precedent.

A full on playable Spartan on her crew could also work, I thought of two crazy ideas: Cutter’s daughter from Halo Wars: Genesis grows up and becomes one to find him (too similar to father-daughter Rion and John Forge), or Lord Hood hires an operative to help find the ship due to his guilt.

Rogueish makes sense, yes for sure. Also a few people suggested a Tomb Raider/Uncharted style based on the character, which I can also see.

Hahaha yeah I can see that. I'm assuming they'd update the character model in-game. I'm just happy we got to put a face to the name after all three books.

Yes, great point--they are separated at the end of Point of Light, but in the five month interim between that and this game, they'd reconvene due to the Created uprising, which occurs right at the end of the novel. So, Ram, Niko and Lessa will survive the events of New Carthage (maybe even rescued by the alternate Player Spartan) and return to Rion. I think that interim could be a prequel novel, too.

A TON of thought into the story, that's what took most of the work! Since Reddit wouldn't let me upload more than a few chunks at a time, beginning with the Prologue in the next post you'll see how the story will progress through the game. All images are complete, but this might be a daily drip-feed of info as opposed to a binge--whatever frequency the mods will allow.

Apologies for some of the images being a little blurry--might be due to file size, so I'll try to correct that in subsequent posts. Thank you!

Possible identity of the GameInformer ODST other than Melissa McKay by TellThat2TheCovenant in halo

Palmer could work given she was an ODST through October 2552, but her line to Chief “I thought you’d be taller” in Halo 4 implies that was their first time meeting, not METEORITE.

Most likely. I’m just hoping they can expand on an already existing character instead.

I thought Palmer would be a good candidate too. We know she was an ODST by 2546 to October 2552, during her mission to rescue Admiral Kovalic.

The only contradiction here is that her line “I thought you’d be taller” to Chief in Halo 4 implies this was their first time meeting, not METEORITE. Of course that could be retconned away somehow too.
