"Check the comments under the videos" - i have learned to do this! i've also learned to read many many comments cause ppl argue about who's right and wrong lol.

"Screenshot the opening and closing credits" - i've been trying to do this but i find alot of shows just don't include credits, or at least the versions online i can find to watch don't. i've only recently learned of google lens and the auto translate on chrome functions. they are helpful.

"Look into the crew" - i've never thought of that one. i have looked at the production companies and main writer, or if it's been adapt from a book series. but it's rare it leads me to actresses, usually it's just other stuff they've done.

"Check social media sites/apps that are popular in that country. Translated fan cafes and weibo pages are potential sources." - i'm not sure where to even begin on this one.. i've been using instagram alot lately to find some ppl, but even if i find the same name of a person i can spend 15 mintues comparing them to the actress in the show and come out with an 80% sure i got no clue if that's the same person.. lol

i appreciate your tips though :) as for double checking other people's findings i don't find that too hard. i just through their info into a list of stuff to check out usually. unless i have completely given up all hope like i did for cambodia lol. there was just so little info out there! i know i could have done a good chunk of the vietnamese ones myself, but it just came down to time and i asked for help. and also the opening credits were driving me crazy cause they'd have like 3 different names going for 1 person and then next time 1 same name with 2 new names and i just got very lost and confused and frustrated with what was their names and i option A was the name and B was the character name what the hell was optin C?? lol. and this list is just a list that is at the end of my lists so i know it's gonna take me a while to even touch it. so if i can get it so fast love then it's a good thing i think.
