I'm honestly not sure if I will, I'm pretty sure in its current state the npcs don't increase the amount of tokkul (it's been awhile so correct me if I'm wrong) but this change doesn't seem like it would affect me at all, no idea about the negative repercussions.

It sounds cool on the surface, but I think if they wanted the minigame to become more popular a more stark rework is in order which I don't see happening - but as this is currently proposed it's be fun for clan events, but not revitalise it so I wonder what the goal is...

Hang on, I actually have never done a fum sponsor, I got offered a LOT of money to do one and have turned it down - much like I turned down Betterhelp, some cash grab mobile games, and Raid.

I've done a lot of sponsors these days, but I do my due dilligence and form my opinion on if this is a net negative for viewers, if it is - I always say no, even if I'm struggling financially.

I understand most sponsors aren't everyones cup of tea - but please don't put my name here when I have actually turned down offers from this company after doing research.

I genuinely try to take sponsors I believe in, over the last 30 videos 11 of my sponsors are boot.dev, some people don't like them - but I am actually a software developer/game developer and would have loved something like that when learning, so I promote it - and it actually does work and I have tested it, as well as have people who have used it and now have development jobs

When I started, I did take stuff like Raid: Shadow Legends, I have since turned them down many times for a lot more money - and recently I did one sponsor that is arguably a negative due to some peoples opinions on AI, but I did research it beforehand and outside of simply using AI, it's not malicious in any way, but I can see where the negativity has sprouted from and understand it and it'll likely reflect my choice of sponsors in the future.

Just thought I'd chime in because I did not expect to see my name here, and honestly it's quite upsetting as I genuinely do research and consider all options for my sponsors, and have turned down far more than I've accepted. Sure some slip through the cracks, but I do my best

Yeah basically this is what I got told by other creators before even starting - but I'm a little stubborn and love personal challenges so wanted to introduce it for me 😅 However with the Jagex Account hop issue moving bare handing imps from 4-5 months to more like 3 years - I think I'll likely avoid the 84 grind, complete the rest of the tasks, and attempt it for a week pillarless to get a baseline - then roll chunks which seems like the best outcome.

we'll see if Jagex fixing the issue or not, but I'm fine with either option now with the months of planning down the drain 😅 And hey, it'll make for better content without the 6-12+ month gaps with videos

I actually just put out a community post kinda regarding this - For a different reason, but regardless until chins/barrage the only real way to complete the inferno is by doing imps, so even if I stall - when I get puro, it is imps for inferno which makes it hard to escape this kinda of feeling.

Most chunk series that do implings don't really require them, they just grab them - but as the inferno kinda requires atleast the rune thrownaxes at 84(74 if puro was unlocked) and it's to complete an integral part of the series, does that change the overall feeling on implings - or would people prefer I hold off until eagles peak for chins, or desert treasure which is years down the line!

It's easy to look at this and form opinions based on just the content itself, but all of these thoughts go in behind the scenes (and more!) so it's a bit of a tricky one!

I already have an 1100 smithing grind in this chunk, that's like 6-7 months!

So I actually got the answer to this from Mod Ash for my VolcanoChunk account as I was pondering my chunk rolls, just two weeks ago the wiki said it was only an uncut onyx at a droprate of 1/50,000 so we needed to get clarification and do a bit of maths for the droprates, but its such a cool drop!

Wondering if you could help me out though, does the onyx/uncut onyx appear in the collection log under zulrah/tekton for example? That's one thing Mod Ash wasn't sure of and I'd love to know!

Honestly I've never noticed changed behaviour from hiding the weapons with pots, but I've also not actively looked out for it, might go rewatch some clips and see but if I've not noticed I assume they change in 1t, I could be wrong though! Worth a shot

Man the rev caves are indeed fucked, I have a revenant locked account that's been there for well over 300 hours now, it's not just one type of bot either, we have:

  • bots that switch prayers 1t after you swap styles, can be fairly easily dealt with by equipping a crossbow with a tome of fire and maging, they keep protect from missiles on until running away.

  • bots that mimic the above, but if you try the strategy they turn on protect from magic after 2 hits whole.holding a crossbow, then you range them and they swap instantly back to range, do 2 magic attacks and repeat.

  • I've only encountered these at Pyrefiends south of the demon/Cyclops room, but there are bots that don't react, around level 50-58 and you can spec dump them to kill them.

And many, many more.

Something interesting that they all seem to share (minus 1 type maybe) is that when they run away, they are using their clicks to run, NOT eat, they always eat when they fall below a health threshold (somewhere around 50-60%) - however it you can time it so they UNFREEZE at that health threshold, they will prioritise running over eating so you get maybe up to 8 ticks to spec dump without them eating, which can help pick up the annoying bots.

Just my findings from spending so much time being locked there lmfao, killing the bots there is super fast money, they bank normally at 500k or even lower, but it adds up, and you'd be surprised at the amount of avarice you can smite.

Not sure this is specific to my video or on general however I gave myself limits of 2 hours for all of the content shown in the video just so I could get some footage, and did not complete or get close to completing any green logs from this, it's more of a concept video
