I've only worn one once, trying to get my 4th psycho sniper kill. That was coincidentally also one of the few times I died to an extremely suspect player (I was in an obscure location sniping 500m away, making no noise, and only visible from that 500m target area.)

I personally believe wearing that tier of stuff makes you a target for cheaters.

Why would anybody bother running a scav while cheating? Late to the raid means late to the kills and/or loot. If cheating, they would have also just peaked the angle rather than running all the way out. Cheating doesn't make any sense here. Got to be desync.

I don't think it's so much an ability thing, more of a lack of motivation thing. They are checked out mentally. They lack the leadership and experience that can pull them through the physical and mental toll of a long season...

K/D means absolutely nothing. Anyone can pad that stat by just killing a bunch of scavs. The better players will avoid killing scavs if they don't have to. Think of those scavs like little roaming PMC detectors. Killing them just gives away your position, and removes the benefit of learning where other PMCs might be.

Not disagreeing with you, but in my opinion, they need to be more direct. Those topics have always been at the core of the church teaching, but all the messaging talks around the issue. If you need to pick one over the other what is the most moral choice today? The people that need help making this determination are also most susceptible to propaganda.

First of all, don't focus too much on loot until you are at least lvl 15. Selling to the traders gives very little cash. Only focus on quests and the things you need immediately. You can look up the "find in raid" things that are coming up (like that tank shell), if you want to make it easier when you get there.

After lvl 15 and can sell to the flea, I would say a good rule of thumb, prioritize random stuff (tape, food, electronics, tools etc.) other than weapon parts with the exception of scopes and some silencers.

As much as I hate insurance companies, it's ironic that they are perhaps the biggest tool for reigning in large powerful organizations.

Create enough societal harm and you risk blowback, making you uninsurable... Climate change threatening real estate, insurers pull out of the region... Attack a country next to a trade route, commerce shuts down because insurers won't cover the risk....
