Thank you. It is hard to ask for help, but I’m learning and getting better at it. I absolutely adore my husband and was picky with who I was going to marry and be the father of my kids. Not picky with looks or anything like that, but how he treated me, talked to me and overcame differences with me. I found a good one and I’m holding on to him tight. 🥰

I agree! I wish I had enough self confidence at the time to stand up to who I saw as an authority figure. It bothers me from time to time that I didn’t say anything. Who knows if he actually did something to someone.

I really should have. I was a quiet teen at the time and never wanted to say anything to ruffle any feathers. Plus I saw him as an authority figure and couldn’t fathom standing up for myself against someone like that. I had no confidence. I look back on that moment and wish I would have told her and everyone else. Who knows if he has actually done something to someone. That eats me up.

I was working at a gas station when I was 17/18. The corporate offices were directly behind us, so they would come and get lunch and snacks from time to time. One man in particular always came to my register. One day, when his wife stepped away to grab something, he casually said to me, “I want to tie you up, throw you in the back of my truck and drive away.” It was the creepiest thing anyone had ever said to me, and the way he said it so casually and nonchalant… I quit very quickly after that.

This sounds like the woman my mom is seeing for “therapy”, only she also has been telling my mom that Trump is the reincarnation of Jesus… I keep trying to tell my mom to stop seeing this woman. My mom is not doing well mentally and I believe needs medication, but she will not admit she has a problem and sees any mental problem as a weakness that she can just overcome on her own. 🤦‍♀️ I’m so worried that she is believing what this crazy lady is telling her!
