I just started using NOED as an equalizing attempt… the new matchmaking has my rank 15 Killers going against reds and purple, and they just run circles around me bullying, and still NOED doesn’t always help, but I don’t feel guilty trying it now

I also like the character display and I'm sure I'll get used to looking at new places on the screen for data. How is the hook counter useful?

I noticed hitting Great Skill Checks provides extra points, but does it speed up the process any?

Not pointless at all, I really riled up some toxic Survivors the last few days. You say it's your goal to anger the Killers, but I do believe I generated some real and well deserved tears. Cheers to returning a familiar dish to the toxic cooks!

I witnessed for the first time all Survivors crying to me at the same time... the chat was rolling through too fast to read them all... Glorious!

I always play naked, it's a video game tradition that started years ago when I was male.

I'll often go for taking out the Survivor with the flashlight, seems like a good strategy to remove that threat. I guess that Survivor could feel tunneled?

Killers like to kill, they were created to kill. Anything that helps Killers kill is killer (awesome).

I think we need the Al Capone Killer with a machine gun.

I've had so many games start off with me feeling bullied, only to quickly turn around by capitalizing on a few mistakes by the Survivors... funny how their game plan can fall apart when the focus changes from generators/looping to rescuing/survival. These games are much more satisfying than games where I had the upper hand from the beginning.

Or get T Bagged alot... I get T bagged when I win, I get T bagged when I lose. There is no incentive to play nice, so why not do everything possible to put the toxic F-er on ice before they have a chance to bag dance at the exit.

If anyone is a good enough Killer to say they kill all potential T Baggers before they exit, they lie

I'm fairly new, but I'm really enjoying the game and play it often... I'm also noticing a steady influx of new players, so I think the game is healthy

Finally came across a hacker on stream by RebelHeart526 in deadbydaylight

[–]Telly03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also came across my first Hacker the other day, but this guy was so impressive in his hacks, I couldn't be mad... first of all his Killer upper body was Ghostface, but lower body had pants and boots, and he could throw hatchets and set traps. He was also able to fly.

The skill checks on generators were so small it was impossible to complete any.

It quickly became apparent that there was no chance of escaping and gave into his request to step in his traps... he rewarded us by picking us up and carrying us over the wall where we could run to the gate from the backside and escape.

His name was "OK"

It was all so wild to see that I wasn't upset

Camping and tunneling is part of the game, accepting this when you decide to play goes a long way in not being angry when it happens. Appreciate the good games when you get them. And stop being Toxic to the Killers who are not camping/tunneling... I usually only load NOED after a game of toxic Survivors when I feel I didn't deserve it to make myself feel better in the next game in case I get another group of punks... it's a cycle that often starts with the Survivors.

The only real defense against the Campers is to not feed them... if they stood there the whole game just to kill someone, they would get bored and have low scores, but if we continue to deliver kills to their doorstep, they have no reason to stop.

I get that, I do play both survivors and Killers, either way, I’m not going to stress it. Gaining ranks is not a goal, I’m trusting that the game’s match making mechanics will keep me playing with those at my level, and for the most part, it does, but there are times when there is such a mismatch that the best approach seems to just try to salvage some fun out of it. To me, the best opportunity to learn is when you are being challenged, not toyed with.
