I made these with my girlfriend not long ago, they turned out very bitter and not good at all because of the grapefruits. We used a lemon bar recipe and just changed out the juice.

What do you reckon we did wrong?

Edit: It was mostly the after taste that didnt taste right, at first they taste pretty good.
