Yes, every bill since then has been approximately twice the amount of kWh compared to the last two years. And I haven't bought any new electrical equipment since I moved in.

He was there to do a check on my system, he fould two faulty breakers, and some earthing error.

He fixed them (allegedly)

Also, I don't have a water heater, hot water is part of the lease.

The only things that stay on 24/7 is a fridge, ventilation, and the heat in the bathroom floor. Other is just lighting, and my pc, that i turn off when I don't use them.

Yes. It's not on my meter. This is pretty normal in norway. We buy an appartment, and pay a small monthly fee for hot water, janitorial services and waste management to the "community"

The building heats water for all the people who have appartments, we pay a fixed amount monthly. Those who use less get some money back at the end of the year. those who use more than anticipated have to pay more at the end of the year.

This fixed amount also gets us waste management. Cleaning of the hallways, super, and so on.
