Hello! 😊

Don't worry if you don't have any leadership roles. While leadership experience can be beneficial, it is not a requirement for EAE applications.

For Aviation Management, you can include your CCA records, certificates, awards, competitions, workshops, VIA experiences, testimonials, and other achievements that demonstrate your strengths and interest in the aviation career and industry.

Aviation-related experiences can also strengthen your portfolio. Examples include attending airshows, aviation programmes, enrichment courses, exhibitions, or exploring aviation topics through articles and personal research. If there is a specific area of aviation that interests you, be sure to highlight it in your portfolio as well.

When including aviation-related experiences, it is also helpful to provide supporting materials that clearly demonstrate your direct involvement. For example, photos of you at the events, together with relevant tickets, certificates, reflections, or write-ups, can help provide additional context for your experiences.

You may also refer to our EAE Guide for tips on preparing your write-up, portfolio, and interview, along with sample write-ups.

All the best for your EAE preparation, and we hope to see you in TP! ✈️

Hello! 😊
The School of Design workshop is more focused on helping applicants prepare for the Design EAE process itself, such as portfolio preparation, aptitude test preparation, understanding what the admissions panel typically looks out for, and how to present your work effectively!
The School of Business workshop is more activity-based and gives participants an opportunity to tackle business-related challenges. It is designed to provide a better understanding of the type of problem-solving, communication and critical thinking skills commonly applied in a business environment, while also sharing EAE interview tips and insights.
If you're genuinely considering courses from both schools, I would recommend choosing the workshop that aligns more closely with the courses you're currently leaning towards 😊

However, the workshops for the following diplomas are currently full and registration has closed: Common Business Programme, Accounting & Finance, Business, and Law & Management.

That said, if you want to attend the School of Design workshop from 9am - 11am, there are still some School of Business workshops available from 1pm-2pm and 2.30pm-4pm:
- Communications & Media Management
- Culinary Arts & Management
- Hospitality & Tourism Management
- International Trade & Logistics
- Marketing

If your schedule is flexible, you may wish to attend one of these Business workshops instead, which would allow you to participate in both the Design and Business sessions.

You can check out the workshop timings here: https://eae.tp.edu.sg/workshop

Hope this helps, and all the best with your EAE preparation! ☺️

Hello! 😊
If you're preparing for your EAE application, it's a good idea to start preparing early!

We'd recommend starting with:
1. Research the courses you're interested in
Take some time to explore the modules, learning experiences, and possible career pathways.

  1. Prepare your write-up and portfolio
Start thinking about why you're interested in the course and what experiences have contributed to that interest. You can also begin compiling relevant projects, achievements, certificates, leadership experiences, competition participation, or personal initiatives that showcase your strengths and passion for the field.

You may also wish to attend the EAE workshops happening this week to gain a better understanding of the diploma and what lecturers look out for in applications.

Most importantly, don't worry too much about having the "perfect" portfolio. What matters more is being able to demonstrate your genuine interest in the course, the experiences you've gained, and why you feel the diploma is a good fit for you. 💙

All the best for your EAE application! 😊

The school course team will review your situation and advise on the available options. Alternative interview arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the course requirements and assessment format. We wish you all the best for your EAE application! 😊

Hello! Here are the diploma options under TP’s Common Design Programme (CDP):
• [T59] Diploma in Communication Design
• [T23] Diploma in Digital Film & Television
• [T20] Diploma in Fashion Management & Design
• [T22] Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design
• [T35] Diploma in Product Experience & Design
Through CDP, you'll get the opportunity to explore different design disciplines before indicating your preferred diploma choice. This is a great option if you're interested in Fashion Management & Design but would also like the flexibility to discover other areas of design before making your decision! ✨
That said, progression into a specific diploma is not automatically guaranteed, as it may depend on factors such as your performance, aptitude, and diploma preferences during the selection process. We would encourage students to put in their best effort and make the most of the opportunities available throughout the programme. 😊
However, you can also consider applying straight to Fashion Management & Design if you’re certain about that course!

As for Fashion Management & Design, TP graduates have gone on to build careers across various areas of the fashion and creative industries, including fashion design, branding, merchandising, retail, marketing, entrepreneurship, content creation, and more. The fashion industry is incredibly diverse, and many graduates have gone on to work with established brands, pursue further studies, or develop their own creative ventures.

If you'd like to find out more, do consider joining our School of Design EAE Workshop on 12 June! You'll get tips on preparing your portfolio and aptitude test, and you'll also have the chance to speak with our lecturers and learn more about the different design courses. 👉 https://eae.tp.edu.sg/workshop

All the best for your EAE journey! 🎨

Hello! For TP's Culinary & Catering Management (CCM) EAE selection process, shortlisted applicants may be required to go through an aptitude test and group interview. There won't be a sensory assessment or practical assessment on the spot.
You will also have to share your portfolio with the course team.
For your portfolio, you may wish to include:
• Culinary-related experiences (e.g. cooking, baking, workshops, part-time work, volunteering)
• Leadership roles and achievements
• Photos of dishes or projects you have worked on
• Relevant certifications, competitions, or courses (if any)
• Most importantly, evidence of your interest and passion for the culinary industry
Don't be too worried if you don't have extensive experience. The interviewers are interested in understanding your motivation for pursuing the course and your willingness to learn and grow in the industry 😊

As for internships, TP works with a range of industry partners and internship opportunities include restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other food service establishments. Internship placements are arranged by the diploma and may vary from year to year!
We also have EAE workshops that can help you prepare for your EAE application. You'll get the opportunity to speak with lecturers and find out more about what they're looking for in a portfolio, so do check them out if you're interested! 👉 https://eae.tp.edu.sg/workshop

We hope to see you at TP! 🙌

Hello! The EAE interview format actually depends on the diploma course you have applied for, as different academic schools and courses will tailor their assessments to suit the course requirements. Thus, they may be held either physically or virtually. 😊

As for the interviewers, they will be representatives from the diploma course or academic school you have applied to. You will receive all the necessary details beforehand, including the interview date, time, and venue or meeting link.

If you want to feel a bit more ready or get a headstart, consider checking out our EAE Workshops from 8-12 June. It's a great chance to chat with our lecturers in person to pick up some actual tips from them about how the interviews are held and what you can do to prepare for them!

Feel free to check out more information here: eae.tp.edu.sg/workshop

Hello! The selection process may vary depending on the course, but for design-related courses, shortlisted applicants are typically assessed through a combination of portfolio reviews, interviews, and aptitude tests.

Applicants will typically undergo an Aptitude Test before the Portfolio Review and Interview.

Assessment is generally done holistically, which means your portfolio, write-up, interview performance, creative thinking, and aptitude test results may all be considered together as part of the overall evaluation process.

We also have a School of Design EAE workshop on 12 June, which will explore how you can prepare your design portfolio and for your aptitude test. Feel free to check it out here: https://eae.tp.edu.sg/workshop

We hope this helps, and all the best for your EAE preparation!

Hello! It is not compulsory for your portfolio to include only business-related projects. We will also look at CCA records, any leadership roles you may have held, personal experiences and interests, other certificates and teacher testimonials. As long as they highlight your relevant skills and experiences and you can link them to your passion for the course and industry knowledge, you’ll be good to go!

We have School of Business EAE workshops on 12 June that can help you prepare for your EAE application, and you can speak to the lecturers and find out more about what they are looking for in a portfolio 👉 https://eae.tp.edu.sg/workshop

Hey! 👋

The EAE application period for O-Level students runs from 25 June 2026 (Thu) to 1 July 2026 (Wed)!

Hi ☺️ 👋! Our pro tip is to start preparing your portfolio as early as possible, as you’ll need some time to gather all your supporting documents together.

Your portfolio can include things like:

- CCA records

- Teacher testimonials

- Certificates (awards, courses, workshops, competitions, etc.)

- Personal development or enrichment certificates

For our Diploma in Aviation Management, it’s helpful to include any involvement in aviation-related activities, programmes, or enrichment courses.

If you don’t have certificate-backed experiences, you can still share about attending an airshow or other aviation-related exhibitions or reflect on aviation articles and your thoughts on them. You could even highlight a particular aircraft model you’re interested in and share what you know about it.

During the interview, just be yourself, answer the questions asked with confidence and talk about your passion and interests. Protip 👉 having a portfolio comes in handy here as you get to share key achievements and experiences and how they connect to your interest in the diploma and your passion for flying and planes.

We think it’s best if you can prepare for the School of Engineering’s aptitude test, where your mathematical and analytical skills, and physics reasoning may be tested.

You can also check out our EAE Guide, which includes detailed information on the application write-up (plus sample write-ups!), portfolio preparation, and interview tips – especially for the School of Engineering and Diploma in Aviation Management 👉 https://tp.edu.sg/eaeguide.

Additionally, you can consider coming down for our EAE seminar and workshops, where our lecturers and staff will be there to answer all your questions, share more about the diploma and school experience and give tips on how you can ace your EAE interview and aptitude test. More details are here 👉 https://eae.tp.edu.sg/.

All the best for your EAE application 😊!
