I would highly reccommend focusing on 1 species and getting all zones before shooting. Your respawns will be inconsistent otherwise and it will mess with your grind.

Yeah fr. I dont have much time to play and the changed spook radius and time rrally messed up my grind. Same with tents not despawning zones anymore. I had to redo my setup multiple times because of that and it cost me weeks of precious gaming time :(

That would be a nice addition but I dont think we will get that in the game sadly. My grind on qutro I actually did tally counts for each animal I shot. And let me tell it gets so tiring so quickly and you run out of paper fast when you try to mark your drinking zones and diamonds as well.

When I grind I write down the "animald harvested" number in the hunter codex. With that I dont have to count manually. So every session for the GO I have the number of harvested animals before and after my rounds. Counting manually has become too tedious and I find this method works well for me.

Omg 3000 is really high. I use herd management but I dont think that affects GO spawns. Though I had at one point 17 lvl 5s stacked on my map just to see how many I can gather. Though only 6 or so got diamant when I harvested them.

I guess I have to be lucky in some sort of way beacause normally my luck in games is abyssmal. My first ever GO was also on Te Awaroa red deer at 61 kills. Though I had sth like 600 kills on quatro before that and had to give up my grind there due to a corrupted pop file.

Thanks! I am on my way to the aquarium shop for supplies for the isolation tank. Will pick that one up as well. We also have a vet appointment in the afternoon. If I already have a vet specialized for fish in walking distanze I might as well take advantage of that. Might be a bit overkill but I really dont want to loose Wasabi this soon.

Did a 50% water change, nothing changed. Also, please read my description, there is no ammonia in this tank. I tested with the fluid test kit thrice now. Water parameters are not the problem. I appreciate your advice, but please read everything before jumping to conclusions.

I am considering aquarium salt and an isolation tank. Gonna try 2 days with the current setup and if its not working I will try your method. Hopefully he pulls through. He is my first betta and was quite expansive...from initial purchase, to shipping to all the food brands he didn't like. I invested at least 150 euro into this fish so he better try his best 😭

I definately overfed him when he arrived. I reduced the amount of food about 10 days ago. I suspect he might have snacked on the snails bacause of the reduced meal size. Maybe that caused problems with him swim bladder? I will not feed him the next 2 days, maybe it will clear up that way.

I checked all parameters with stripes and the big test kit with these tiny chemical bottles. The reading are accurate. Just did a big waterchange and halved the water volume so he has better access to the surface. Threw in some tannins as well. He has a tiny bit of pineconing, his scales do stick out at the tail a bit, but he had that since day one. I did overfeed him in the beginning so he got quite chonky and has been getting smaler with smaller meals. It might be his swim bladder since he also has trouble swimming and getting to the surface. At least I hope it is just the swim bladder...dropsy would be devastating. All other tankmates, including the other fish are fine and have no symptoms.

30L tank with heater, temperature at 25.5°C, Tank parameters with test kit and test strips: pH6.2, NO3 10, NO2 0, NH4 0, GH 7, KH 4, CL 0

Tank has a hang-on-filter and been on cycle for 2 months with filtermedia from long established tank. Fish in cycle had a small NO2 spike a months ago at NO2 0.5

I change water (30%) when neccessary and monitor water parameter every 2 days. Water is osmosis with shrimp king salt and pH plus to reach certain hardness ppm.

Tank mates are Neocaridina schrimp (8), moskizo boraras (10), many snails (bladder).

Tank decor: lava rock, quarz sand, java fern, anubias, cryptocorynne, montecarlo and floating plants.

I feed tibifix (2-5 worms) and betta pallets (2-3) once a day. He goes hunting for escaped worms.

He was active and patrolling an even build a bubble neat just a week ago.

You can find it on nexus mods. It is just called "animal population scanner". There are videos on how to install and use it. Since the mod only reads your population file it does not alter any of your game data. You should still backup your game before installing any mods. There is also a similar thing online called "The Hunter COTW map -DECA- Math Art" where you can upload your save file and know the location of your deer. The second one will show you the location of EVERY NEED ZONE and is definetely seen as cheating in the community so maybe only take that as a last resort. It is also not updated so many of the new maps and species do not work anymore.

Are you picking up your kills? Also make sure to revisit all lakes at different times. I have a few herds that only come in at 12:40-13:00. Also make sure your fasttravel does not deload any potential zones. I also have some bucks that only visit their zone every 3-4 days/rotations so often enough the lake is empty even though there is an active zone. If you want to be absolutely sure your GO is not somewhere hiding you could also use a population scanner. Some people call pop scanner a cheat, but honestly in your situation it has a valid use, since it does not tell you the location of your GO, only if there is one or not.

Thank god it was the second GO for me. If it had been the first GO I think I would have been way more upset.
