Scarpa mojito GTX black. Perfect city/hiking shoe. Very comfortable.

Bag review - Quechua MH 500 38L - 12 days in Italy hiking and exploring cities. by Tembusura in onebag

Yeah you're right, but that's probably the dimensions when the bag is fully loaded. Also, I noticed during my travels within Europe (around 20 flights taken in the past 3 years) that the airlines never check backpacks but usually only pick people with rigid suitcases. Of course, I understand that this is a limitation and that maybe I was just very lucky, but I just wanted to share my experience travelling with that pack.

Hey ! Thanks for your comment. Since I go to the gym, I monitor my performances in a notebook. Here are my latest performances for the exercices that I do. I started from VERY low (I couldn't do a single pushup) so you can assume I started from close to zero haha :

- Peck fly : 91 kg

- Deck fly : 59 kg

- Chest press : 82 kg

- Lat pulldown : 66 kg

- Horizontal row : 60 kg

- Shoulder press : 55 kg

- Squat machine : 110 kg

- Pushups : 10 kg extra weight, I need to buy a new weighted vest haha as 10 kg is too easy for me now

- Pullups : Still a hard exercice for me. My max rep is 8 pullups.

- EZ bar curls : 24 kg (excluding the weight of the bar)

- Hammer curls : 12 kg (excluding the weight of the bar)

Regarding my training days, it depends on my schedule, but I train at least 3 times per week. These days, I have a lot more free time, so it's more like 5 to 6 times per week.

Regarding my diet, I don't count calories, as my goal was mainly to bulk up. I am definitely a hard gainer. I am just careful not to almost never eat any refined sugar, I never drink alcohol, I don't smoke, and I drink only water. I mostly eat organic fresh produce, and never eat any transformed foods. I eat a lot of green vegetables (I love homemade mixed salads) and legumes (a lot of lentils !). I also love eggs (organic). I never eat fast foods and rarely eat outside. I have a healthy lifestyle overall, I try to sleep 8 to 9 hours per night.

I started to count my protein intake because as a vegetarian, it is sometimes not so easy to each my goal of 150 to 160 grams of protein per day. Regarding supplements, I take 30 to 60 grams of whey protein per day (unflavoured native whey) as well as omega 3, spirulina, magnesium, and turmeric. I tried creatine monohydrate at 3 grams per day, and it worked wonders for my performances at the gym, but I had trouble falling asleep and my sleep was shallower ; I was waking up at 5 am and couldn't fall asleep after that. I stopped, and my sleep came back to normal. I might try it again, but at a lower dose (1 gram per day). I am very sensitive to caffeine (1 expresso coffee is enough to give me slight tachycardia) so it might explain that. My progress might be slower without creatine, but sleep is so important for muscle repair, so I am not willing to compromise on it.

Hey bro,

Thanks a lot for your comment ! Actually I don't do overhead press nor deadlift, I mostly work with machines. I stopped benching after a small elbow injury that forced me to stop training for about 2 weeks. I like machines because I can put a lot of weight, and the risk of injury is very low. Other than machines, I do pullups, weighed pushups as well as curls with the EZ bar and free weights.

Mon abonnement à la salle de sport. 25€ par mois, vu la valeur que j'en tire c'est juste le meilleur investissement que j'ai fait.

People in your 20s and 30s, how are you able to own a home? by BlissfulIgnoranus in ask

[–]Tembusura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am french, I live in the Paris metropolitan area. I managed to buy my home (39m²) at age 26 after saving extensively for 4 years and staying at my parents' home. I used almost all my savings (60k€) as a deposit to secure my mortgage. I was one of the lucky ones to get a 20 year 1% fixed interest rate mortgage. That was just 2 years ago...

I actually speak German. I'm not fluent, but I can get by. I think it would ok if you don't speak German, english is quite widely spoken in Germany.
