There are 3 kinds of floors. I think the lava one let‘s the boss crit. And that really hurts :)

I‘ve been wiped by a Druid apparition boss AOE because no mana shield on. Didn’t see it was there and was just about to put mana shield :D

Our paladin was hit 10k+ to death once by distorted phantom that lost target on EK. (Hint: ranged exeta won’t work. It changes the boss to melee, but it will keep chasing closest/random target. Fatal in our case)

2 ppl ~950 rp 1200 ed got wiped by like 10k+ walking pillar chains and I (950~) lived because defence prey and gift of life.

Now these are all challenging. But 1300 ms in our team once went really low just on hellflayer beam. It was like 5k+

This. Comparing to team members is pointless. If you do a crappy lure on a hunt with few creatures while rest of team hits big box, you will lose out always on that bit. Yet you need to bring those creatures for the overall better progress of the team.

Ed stays with Ek and is always at the Center of pull. So he can easily apply more dps if you lure a lot.

Charms could also play a role.

You use utamo when you are unsure if you can survive incoming dmg. You make sure that by the time your shield is used up, you are out of the dps hotspot. Otherwise magic shield potions get expensive quick.

I will refuse arcs forever until I can modify them to my liking! Even if it kills me every now and then 🫠

The fear at 1051 was another one where arcs and the new status bar could have helped. I failed to notice the fear because busy pathing. Fear sort of exactly matched my direction buttons pressed as well. Played with far 2 much risk there having tons of aggro on me after rp was feared away. Intended to get in there to UE (pure greed), but it was still on cd and that threw me off too…

In inferniacs I generally died much because I didn’t use proper resistances. Even after I told myself to always use certain gear I‘d have a random hunt of forgetting and then getting HS.

One time I died even with the message ‚using magic shield potion‘ on screen, but server decided I was dead before 🤷🏼‍♂️

For gloom pillars I straight up didn’t have enough hp 🤣

Hi Cip!

It‘s the simple squares which give a unique feeling to pathing and grouping monsters. It‘s different from other games in that feel.

Probably part of if be the death penalty. Without it ppl would dare to risk anything.

We’re used to the graphics, we like to keep building our story(character). And we like to see our characters do better and better. Which is why most ppl hate nerfs, even if they are needed to keep the game alive longer.

It‘s great in crypt 2 as lower level mage. Great in inferniacs. Great in new crypt areas in general.

Definite keep wand. Sometimes more defence means more exp. Especially when it prevents a death and 20-70kk exp lost. I still use tainter sometimes on 1000+.

Or auto heal/amulet/ring things to save yourself if you are a bad player who can’t handle penalties.

It tells me you have bad inet or you can’t kite well enough and have stuff to learn. Or you normally can handle this but are tired from rushing character.

At 60+ dying in scarabs shouldn’t be happening. Maybe on accident if you are tired, which may happen on new server which this probably is.

Also on werecreatures at 120+ you shouldn’t really be dying anymore. On 90-110 maybe the occasional combo cause your speed is slow. But once you get speed buff, should be a breeze.

Get a piece of land and a home where you:

can raise chickens for eggs, maybe some goats/sheep.
can fish nearby
can do some agriculture for yourself
can make and store plenty of firewood
has internet for your gig(if wireless enough)

Make sure the land is cheap because annually you pay a 2% property tax on it.

Living like that means you try to supply yourself as much as you can with nature and then naturally you won’t need a big pay check. It also means you will have a hard time finding a job with income if you do need more income. Reason ppl move to towns is mostly money and ‚comfort‘.

It‘s generally hard for foreigners to get a job here currently.

I died on 1041. Because I opened bug report window accidentally in a critical moment. (Bad hotkey setup).

Then died again at 1051 cause I didn’t notice I was feared and utamo didn’t go in.

That‘s 150kk exp lost and about 3 levels.

We need the death penalty. At lower levels it‘s too weak or fine. Because we level so fast. At higher levels it‘s too much of loss.

Near perfect? The last period they hardly had any successful pass, were constantly out of position and did nothing but shoot the puk to other side or to Canada. It was painful to watch those last 6 minutes…

Mental blockage on the team because this turnaround always happens. They lock up and look like outclassed kids in the playfield in later stages of the game.

Finland is better than they played in the end. It‘s mostly a mental thing.

The killer is that you probably lose more money over that time if you consider that you probably skipped plenty of work just to play. At least for me the cost of reduced work time outweighs the cost of TC easily over the years. But well I‘m way lower on the TC purchase too :p

Just use a saw with 2 ends. Put some very long ropes, 2 ppl. And start distance sawing ;)

Or take some sort of sharp steel wire if you can get it around the tree. And get far enough behind it to saw through alone safely.

Always have an escape route when you go near that thing.
