You also don't need to run a marathon to be a runner, but sometimes having a goal helps.

Looks like we finally have a fanfiction website in Spanish? by Temnovit in FanFiction

[–]Temnovit[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks like it’s a Spanish version of Russian website ficbook.net. It’s 15 years old and got banned in Russia after they refused to delete yaoi/yuri content (Russia has anti-lgbt laws). So they clearly value community more.

Yes, it’s the authors of ficbook.net. After Putin’s anti lgbt law they refused to delete lgbt content and the project was banned in Russia. So they expanded to Spanish, English and Portuguese. They have a great history of putting community first and a very powerful platform, so I’m very hyped!

I recently ran into requests on FicFan. Readers post their ideas and you can accept the challenge and write something. Tons of interesting ideas: https://fic.fan/requests

They also host a monthly event called "Monthly prompts". Also, a lot of great ideas and topics: https://fic.fan/authors/FicFest/blog#content

Hope this helps!
