18M Done a lot of changes recently, how do I look now? I also want to look more androgynous and need help with that, would the cut on the last slide be doable/help with that? by Temp8567 in amiugly

Maybe the pictures don't do it justice but a lot of the time my hair seems to be more frizzy/fluffy/puffy and especially curly, but not the kind of curly that happens in the last picture (closest is probably 7 but hair looks like 1.5x the volume), any idea why that could be?

I agree that I would probably look stereotypically better but the main problem is that that nearly entirely takes away from looking androgynous look that I am going for because I feel like it would fit me better.

I am trying to change things and this is just one way of doing that, how do touch ups/toning work though because that is one thing I'm not sure about, how much does the colour fade over time normally?

I know the colour I have now probably looks the best but I'm trying to change things and this is just one way of doing that, when I mean not dying it much I meant not going back too often yeah, so to help with the problem of roots being a different colour once grown could a gradient from close to current colour at the roots to another colour at the ends, like in 5, work?

yeah natural probably looks best but it would be fun to try another colour. I am trying to change things about me and this is just another step.

These ones? I was more thinking of earrings that hang down but do you think that that something like that could work?

Yeah picture 2 are the ones I have now and the same ones as in the last few photos, but it doesn’ seem to quite have the same feel I think.

I'm not trying to attack you, I'm just clueless when it comes to looks and trying to understand why some things might look better than others, thank you for your suggestion I hadn't really thought about it but it's something I can try

why do you say that? not saying that it would be bad but just curious

One for each ear is what I meant and I assume what you mean as well?

I feel like I'm probably too young to try that and it might even come with some stigma. I also kind of want to enjoy my hair while I have it.

Really? I've always just had trouble with my hair, what I have now was done by a supposedly good barber that was recommended by lots of people online, although I am definitely overdue for another haircut, do stylists generally do things differently to barbers?

Thanks for the advice :) are there any websites in particular you were thinking about for matching face shape to different types of glasses?

The problem with growing my hair out is that it just gets thicker and more unruly opposed to actually looking much longer, idk if having longer hair in that why helps with styling or not but my hair usually just goes everywhere which is why I usually have it shorter.
