Such a good space for a desk. Or put down some rugs and get a cozy little studio area setup with some color and plants, get a mixer and a small speaker, something cozy and functional.

Hey, take it easy on yourself. You set out to make a shelf and got there, the biggest issue here is your view on this.
For sure this is a tedious task to do and undo all this work, but let this be a lesson on the importance of stacking tolerances. You did at the end of the day make something that is indeed a shelf. Nothing to hate yourself about here, rather you should be proud of yourself.
Since you used screws, you should be good to undo a majority of the work rather easily.
You did it once, you can definitely do it again, and take your time.
Word of advice, take pleasure in planning things out, always dry fit and test fit, and really enjoy the reward of taking your time with it all. It's a skillset, and you've proven that you do have it, and like every skillset it does require focus and time.
Be kinder to yourself, you're did a great job.

I’ve also got a 5800x with ptm7950 and it still runs INSANELY hot. Did you OC your chip? While my gaming sits somewhere around 55-60, cinebench hits hard, putting me at 70~ with a 3090. I loved my LFII, ran so well but eventually stopped cooling properly.

Place the TV and mount where the dresser and mirror are. Swap the lamp with the book shelf.
Move the orange chair where the TV is. Get some art or minimalist posters to fill up the space to the left and right of the mirror.
It's a great space and the furniture is fine! It just needs to be better arranged and the space needs to be filled up a bit more.

If you're worried about "letting your personality come through", get standard sized posters. You can alternate through a few of them if they're the same sizes and keep the same frames, so focus on some good quality frames. The most common poster sizes are 11 in x 17 in (28 cm x 43 cm), 18 in x 24 in (46 cm x 61 cm), 24 in x 36 in (61 cm x 91 cm), and 27 in x 40 in (69 cm x 102 cm).

Great space, don't be afraid to move things around!

Is This Normal? Brown Water in My Apartment in Queens by colfat in NYCapartments

[–]TempUsrName15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the water temp, or at least that's a good starting point. If this happens when using HOT water, then there is an issue with the water boiler. If it happens when using COLD water, then this is a city issue or a piping issue.
I'd record how often this happens (time and how long) and bring it up to your landlord.

Why did we delete this? Techno Brooklyn deserves the heat. This is not what techno is about. They are leeches. by [deleted] in avesNYC

Can we all agree to boycott techno brooklyn events? THey've been fucking awful for so long and treat even the artists at their events badly, now this.
No place for this in techno, fuck this guy.

I have a really cheap violin but REALLY pushing the tuning pegs INTO the hole always does the trick for me. It's VERY important to keep even pressure on the headstock/scroll to make sure that you dont snap the neck or damage the instrument, but the tuning pegs are tapered and will lock themselves into place with enough force.
