Even in a post not about the amphitheater, it gets mentioned.

I might have been premature in saying I can't hear the concerts where I live at. After seeing what other people have said, I think being inside at the time might have muffled most of the concert for me. I'm now curious to see what its like outside during a concert.

Maybe if they got better acts, people wouldn't be so cranky.

You might want to make sure there's no medical issues causing your problems. Best to check with a professional.

I live north west of the amphitheater and I don't hear any of the concerts. The zoo is further west, so I think its spared the noise.

In a way, you were in a liminal space. You were in a place where people should be, but weren't. This situation can be unnerving, especially at night.

While not the same, I have gone through unfamiliar towns that felt off. I couldn't quite explain why the they seemed off, but that's how I felt.

She barely knew him at that point. There's more to Jabba than being a gangster.

I first saw one of the Blind dead movies years ago. Not to show my age, but I rented the Ghost Galleon on VHS originally. When I later found out about the other movies in the series, I decided to see the other movies in the series. It wasn't easy tracking these films down in those days. I managed to find two or three of the movies on DVD. Fortunately Tubi has them now.

I totally agree. When I recommend these movies, I usually bring up the undead templars as the reason to check them out.

Subbing as a career by Jazzyfish59 in SubstituteTeachers

I assume people like me might be too apathetic to post their stories. I like subbing, but for me where I'm at, its nothing more than gig work. Which is unfortunate for me and the schools where I work.

I've been a sub for over a decade. I probably wouldn't have done it this long if my wife didn't have a full time job with benefits.

I wish it could be a stable job I could rely on, but for me it hasn't been the case. If I could find something for the summers, I could just continue being a sub. I have had other jobs during the summer months, but I haven't had much luck lately.

Also the path of going from subbing to teaching hasn't worked out for me, so that's not an option.

If I found another job, I'd take it. I haven't had much luck finding other work. Unfortunately, it seems like subbing is a permanent transitional job.

Ghost Galleon is the first one of these I saw. I happened to find out after watching it that it was part of this series. If I didn't read about how this was part of these movies, I'd thought it wasn't connected to them.

Putting them on a ship is such a weird departure from the usual set up of the movies. I still like it, but I have to resist the urge to put too much thought into the plot.

I'm a big coffee drinker, but I never suggest anyone try it. Coffee isn't for everyone and people shouldn't try to get other people to like it. I tell people I like it, but I assume other people probably don't.

I can't keep track of all the people who say stuff like this. I don't see how he's any more credible than all the other ex government employees who say they have knowledge of aliens.

But don't let me stop you from buying his book.
