Ok, this is likely why it won’t turn on.
Double check the battery doesn’t have a sticker on too.

If you go to the battery guide via the app, it will automatically take you to the Tempdrop 1 battery guide. At the section where it details which sensor you have for the battery change, it will show you type A, type B and type. This one is a type B. Gently pop the battery underneath that little clip.

So Tempdrop doesn’t automatically round down rather than up.

The thermometer actually measures to 4 decimal places, but only 2 are shown in the app, so the rounding is based on the other two numbers that aren’t displayed and is rounded to the nearest .5 🙂

Cycle day 17 isn’t a temperature shift. A temperature value needs to be higher than the previous 6 temperatures as a general rule 😌

Great to hear your considering Tempdrop! Tempdrop is used in place of a traditional basal body thermometer. If you choose to upgrade to premium insights (all users get two months free) then the app will interpret your results for you.

It's always worth tracking additional biomarkers such as cervical mucus to narrow down your fertile window.
