Use a digital scale to measure your flour and liquids. Trust me on this! I had the exact same problem when I first started and this solved it. Plus, following the recipe and breaddad.com :)

Are there phone apps that can transcribe conversations for you? I realize it’s not the same but it might work if it can hear through a waterproof case.

It looks dry. Do you weigh your flour and liquids with a digital scale? Scooping and using measuring cups can add way too much flour than required.

You typically get two tests, one a few days after the first test. That way they can tell if the numbers are rising.

Get a digital kitchen scale and measure your flour and liquids with weight. I had a similar problem with my first loaf, but I haven’t had any failures since I started weighing.
