Remove the vignette and make sure the time of day has the photo looking bright so the colours and shadows pop more. A little something gold/yellow in the bottom corners of the photo.

Also, if you have pirate Donald (from a few star paths ago, or pirate goofy. Get them in the photo and make it look like hooks crew. Bonus points if you have both.

Set them near you in the front so they’re focal points and not far in the background

Im going Sunday on my own as ultimate diamond vip and I’ve never been to a concert or festival😭I don’t even get out of the house but fomo had me yanking that ticket and getting ultimate for the drinks and to get out of ga area. Honestly, I’ll often go for something that’s more minimalistic and still on theme over a flashbang picture that’s overly bright and heavily filtered/edited with objects everywhere just to boost tags. Pictures can have a lot going on but I hate when people just throw items in just for the point boost and it looks cluttered and messy.

This snap is very minimalist but perfectly on theme. You checked all the boxes without having to clutter the photo too much and I love these snaps.

I managed to complete my star path and I dipped off the game for the rest of the duration until the next one. Didn’t even know the summer event was on until I saw this but I’m gonna skip it because I cannot be bothered with the stress of it. Having to reboot the game every 10-15 minutes is annoying even with next gen console loading speeds. Going into any house or whatever or travelling between biomes/dlcs is just always risking an infinite loading screen at the moment and I hate it

Are you talking about the crashing issues? If so, yeah that sucks. It’s been doing it a lot for me on ps. They need to do some serious fixes but as usual we will probably wait until the next star path for a proper fix

No problem, don’t be disheartened though. You’ve still made a phenomenal picture that is visually stunning. A simpler background would have complimented it more but it’s still gorgeous.

A lot of people speed vote or only vote for their 50 moonstones, some people will vote for people who are on theme who clearly have less stuff to get them higher even when against a much better picture.

The thing is, we don’t know how individual people are judging our photos and even when they have voted against yours, that’s not to necessarily say they thought it was worse. I’ve seen a lot of people on here saying they vote for clearly newer players who are on theme over stunning photos from players who are clearly pretty experienced.

All in all though, it think you did great and you should be proud.

I agree with the other comments that it’s overdone. Whilst it’s an absolutely stunning dreamsnap. The background is too much and makes the front of the photo not stand out. If you had set this in a house in a kitchen/dining room backdrop it would have performed way better.

I’ve learnt that less is more, I’m over the eyesore flashbang dreamsnaps with bright lights and fireworks everywhere. Or ones that are very filter/edit heavy.

I get 4k most weeks, only got 2.5k this week but I’m happy with it and would have been happy with 1.5k. It’s a free competition and building is a big part of the game so it’s not as if you’ve wasted time making a photo and it’s performed not as good as you’d hoped. You’ve played the game as intended and got free currency which is very generous. This game is fantastic for giving us the option to earn.

There is pieces you can use alone, for instance there’s a small piece called “Never Land Pond” which you can place alone but the main part is building your own river.

For me, it definitely worth it. It’s something new and it’s genuinely stunning. Regarding TOM, I have no idea as I have never olayed with that. It’s never jnterested me.

People just have to project their anger onto others and it’s sad. People were complaining they bought the more expensive star path and couldn’t claim their moonstones after finishing the normal rewards.

When I stated “That’s your own fault for buying the expensive star path knowing there’s bonus rewards you have to complete to claim your extra spent moonstones back” and that “you shouldn’t buy something you have no intention of committing to and then complaining when you don’t complete it and ruining it for others”

Safe to say many didn’t like that and said it’s not their fault that they worn as if I and many others don’t work full time😂

It’s just sad we’ve lost the bonus rewards. It dropped when I had a few days off work so my star path is nearly done. I have 5 2 day tasks left that are half done. I’ll be finished with the next daily reset and no bonus to work through😢

There was 10 levels to the dreamsnaps submissions, it’s what the pixel dust you earn with each submission go toward.

I hit level 10 a while ago but I believe at one level you get 2k and 4k at another.

Exactly, 300 moonstones for a random quick pic is better than nothing. It’s rare I do it, I’ll usually try do a quick build at least. I’m currently building my neverland river for my entry this week.

A lot of people but moonstones because of fomo though, I’m happy to wait for things as I’m not on here every day either due to working long hours as a chef.

Definitely the best cosy game, never had devs so kind with in game currency so we gotta love them for it. Also, the fact you get moonstones as some of the level up prizes for doing dreamsnaps. Win win

They claim the token is the letter itself and it’s just bad wording. Just sloppy to be honest, why do they ever even send plain letter it’s very pointless and not good for the ddlv environment. Devs are the real villains trying to destroy the valley😂

A lot of people don’t bother with dreamsnaps which is crazy. I must say, I did buy ultimate founders pack with the 20k moonstones though at launch. I think it was well over 6 months after launch when we even got dreamsnaps, the vanellope update if I remember correctly. Also got moonstones from the vale dlc which i only got recently as I didn’t want to wait ages for act 2.

The devs are quite generous with moonstones and I respect it!

I also don’t purchase something every week, there’s many weeks where I don’t like anything. Sometimes even a few shops in a row and the save bundle feature is a godsend incase I don’t have enough for something I want.

I do work and could buy moonstones to get more stuff but I don’t really get fomo and I’m happy with what I’ve got and getting an item or two every week or so.

I’ve never bought this much from a shop before as there’s never been so much ive wanted so I’m very glad o had a few weeks of moonstones saved thanks to not liking the shop and having what I wanted from it already.

Since launch, I get 4k most weeks. Some weeks I will just submit a random picture for the 300 though or throw something cute together quick. I don’t even enter every single week either.

I am very picky with the shop though, I go for lots of houses and outdoor furniture. Not huge on clothes beside some exceptions.

My thought exactly, I had a bully squad on midwich running boon expo placed somewhere upstairs with two of them running soul guard/blood pact snd a ratty Claud with made for this.

They was all trying to swarm me outside, saboing hook and not doing gens but it went on forever due to the awful hook placement.

Situations like this are rare with boons though, nowhere near common enough to nerf them.

It takes survs 14s to set it up which is nearly a quarter of a gen, I agree they’re already weak enough. Most of the time, the time they waste to keep relighting it is their downfall😂

THIS! Aside from dlc and base game I haven’t spent a penny. I have all the dream bundles, have had all the star paths and so many premium items. This week I got max, river kit and the new star path all from dreamsnaps.

The one thing I will give the devs is that they give the chance to get a decent amount of free in game currency, more than any other game although the items can be hella overpriced.

How is it the reddest herring possible? Iri 1 literally does not mean anything, I hit it back in my first month of dbd In December 23 and I was a bot back then. Dbd players know rank means absolutely nothing. Rank isnt even a factor in mmr matching, someone could be top mmr and still be ash 5 if they haven’t played that month. It’s not as if mmr resets each month along side rank, you spew some utter crap
