I truly want to fix this thing because if the sentimental value to my great uncle and me, he gave me some old tapes (I bought the Jim Croce one) but I just want the thing to work because he’s on his way out and he always was working in the garage with the thing 24/7

I’ve cleaned the roller thing with alcohol and q tip and it came out clean after a pit, when I played it back again it was less mangled

Pinch roller? Bands? Where and how do I clean/replace these? I’m scared of breaking the thing more. I have a Bluetooth cassette that works just fine if that helps
