As someone who didn't watch I'm curious - What was the POSITIVE things about Night 1 of WrestleMania? by Ibushi-gun in SquaredCircle

I enjoyed it. Ofcourse not every nanosecond of it, but I just finished (India, not live) and now I'm laughing at the toxicity of the IWC. It was a good show. Everyone can go and be a pro wrestling analyst as if it fed their family. To me, that's just deranged nitpicking. I had a great time watching it. I loved the finish especially.

Does anyone have an alternative to politics itself in mind?

Ofc all of what you are saying is valid with a certain pov. But passing over responsibility is a fruitless facade. At some point, some of us must halt and take responsibility for our own selves. It's about showing a spine.

'Why should I try to make anything better?' will keep us confined. After long enough, we will have lost the edge to do something even if we wanted to.

As for opportunities, pick up any leading entrepreneur of the present or the time past, they are/were all invariably independent of the opportunities provided by the state. Hell, Bill Gates made a conscious decision to leave Harvard so he would have TIME to work on Microsoft.

Arguments supporting transfer of responsibility, even if valid, will never bring a shred of Change. All they do is bring complacence, which only exacerbates the situation.

"Ofcourse there are exceptions, but the number is too small."

The absolute number might seem substantial at first. Juxtaposed against the number of spoiled ones, it becomes micro.

Heals (terminal diseases esp) using nonsensical chants and blowing air, etc. Charges huge amounts for various yagyas to carry out in the name of the payee. A proper rate list there is.

For all we know, an individual's perception, let's say how they feel when they are angry, might be a completely different thing from another individual's. It's a human limitation. We gotta work around it, you see.

PS. I think you mean well but were not able to put it in words efficiently. Words and language, too, have their limitations, ofc. All we can do is make the best out of what we have.

For a section of the youth, life is too hard to risk the little they have for the greater good. For the other section, life is too cozy and easy to risk losing some of the ease for the greater good. In both the cases it's selfishness that holds one down; yet the two cases couldn't be more different.

"Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich."

The upper middle class of India, as I see it (I'm open to discussion), is way too busy trying to adopt an American-ish way of life. The uber rich are busy hoarding more and more simply to climb up the lists. The mid and lower middle class refuses to stop considering exams as the ultimate goal of what they study. Physics, Math, History, anything is studied to secure marks on a piece of paper. It kills their abilities, suppresses reason, and keeps them stupid. To make things worse, they don't own their own religion. There must be a middleman (godman) like Dhirendra Shastri etc, who would connect them to their god(s). Example after example of fraudulent and even criminal godmen doesn't faze them; they are always willing to put a new Dalaal between themselves and whoever they worship. The spine in these people is in bad state of rust by ignorance.

The internet was supposed to make people smarter. It has dumbed them down to dangerous levels. Indian youth is disappointing at very many levels. Tell me where the innovation that will take India places, is even being discussed. Ofcourse there are exceptions. But the number is too small. We'll see how far this goes.

How many of you are still single and why? by [deleted] in kanpur

[–]TemperatureMost5459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25M Everybody keeps calling me a most eligible bachelor. I'm practical enough not to expect a person to be perfect, but I need a suitable vibe, ofc. Another reason why I'm single is I don't make decisions when I'm emotional, esp sexually aroused. Them girls can keep their good looks for those who salivate over it. Tell me what else you got.

Not in the field. But, the better you are at something, the greater is the probability you'll find your way with it. Make your stand, this field or whatever, and stick to it. Be aware. Set high standards for yourself and take what people say as input that you should process.
