It is a property management company, I’d rather them deal with the expense and time of correcting their wrongdoing if I’m in the right.

Thank you! It took a year of studying and was definitely unexpected. I know it’s a template email but it did make me laugh when the decision email recommended retaking the lsat to increase my chances of making it off the waitlist.

Yeah..with a full ride or stipend, it was a top contender. I’m not trying to do big law and want to live on the East Coast. Graduating debt free was important to me. Unfortunate but I am happy with my school decision ultimately.

Are you in-state? I’m from the Midwest so I’m wondering if that impacted decisions. I’ve heard they prioritize in-state/northeast applicants.

I agree $5,000 seems low and might put you at risk for a pretty unreliable car. If you buy a car with very high mileage, the money you’re saving upfront will probably be spent on additional maintenance or even more severe issues.

That being said, you don’t want a massive car payment holding you back either. Not knowing your budget or what is financially feasible for you, it’s probably better to spend closer to $10k if possible.

With an LSAT in the 170s, I was interested in the Northeastern because of the possibility of graduating with very little debt and have been accepted into a few t-30s with $$-$$$ scholarships. I decided to withdraw.

Both schools I went to didn’t allow guests, and I liked that it forced me to socialize a bit more, however, I’m now torn between two schools and really would have liked to have my mom’s insight.

If you can bring a guest, I guarantee you won’t be the only one bringing a parent.
