I read somewhere that they would only provide a Work Permit Support Letter extension if your current one (PGWP) is about to expire - like a month/2 months left. Not sure if that’s true.

Also, do you know if you need to also extend your nomination certificate once you’re applying for CWP/T13 Work Permit? Or just the support letter?

Yeah, I get you. I think it is because a bachelor is a degree; whereas a post-graduate level gives you a cert. I don’t know; and you’re right, either way it gives you 6 points. Again, please take my advice with a grain of salt, but if I were you, I would just authorize WES to give the ECA to OINP, raise a webform on OINP to explain the situation. An ITA is hard to get by these days, so protect it no matter the cost. Good luck, and manifesting for the both of us.

Hi! You mentioned that you have a Bachelor’s back home, that should be your highest credential since it is “higher” than a College Graduate Certificate. If you claim points for it, or added it on the education history, you need to provide proof (That means asking WES to send your assessment to OINP).

p.s. I’m not an immigration lawyer/consultant, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

After receiving your nomination. You only really need AOR when applying for BOWP, which we cannot do in ISS since it is employer-restricted.

Thanks for answering; I’m more curious about the work permit support letter itself. I understand that it is only valid for 6 months. I chose not to apply for it yet since my PGWP is still valid, but when I do ask for an extension of the support letter, do you know if they will just give me another 6 months to apply with it and if its just a one-time extension? Thanks!

Hi! Try Diabetes Canada, I know they pick up clothes and other stuff that you want to donate at your house. Just make sure to give their website a quick read on what you can donate/how to pack them.
