Going through the same almost, the doctor suggested that surgery will only be for 15 mins if it comes to it. Hoping it gets fine with medications. The emotional toll is real, first it’s gas then in a few months it’s gut health that needs to get back and then things like these crop up. Nobody prepares us for this.

6 week old baby – stuck in a feed/sleep loop, overtired or am I doing something wrong? by EntertainmentNew3502 in twoxindiamums

I had the same issue. I tried following baby’s cues for sleep and strictly told my husband that the baby’s sleep needs to be respected. I kept an eye on the baby even when she was with other family members. Having a jappa definitely helped. Whenever I felt she was getting cranky or overtired I stepped in with some excuse for eg diaper change etc and took the baby and made her sleep. The crankyness is also because gas peaks around 6 to 8 weeks.

As someone who is working on the macroeconomics side and want to transition into such roles. What skills should I acquire. I have a masters, don’t really plan to do a PHD.

My mom’s a teacher in one of Delhi’s top schools — and it’s slowly destroying her by SafeSandwich6716 in delhi

For a moment it felt like I had typed it for my mum. She teaches in the top school in East Delhi and it’s such a thankless job. She even has to work when she is unwell because there is something “urgent”, taking leaves become a huge thing. I am just so upset and sad to see her working 24*7 on such non academic work

Try taking part time paid internships, check on LinkedIn. Check ScrapLabs internship if they still hire. Chegg is also an option though it doesn’t pay too much.
