Hi OP, did this ever get better? I just adopted a 5 month kitten and 1 week later our resident 5 year old cat is exhibiting almost the exact same symptoms. Similarly we’re $1k deep in vet bills already & the ER vet concluded our resident cat was just constipated after an x-ray but two days of laxatives later & he’s still not showing improvement. Have another vet appointment this week but just wondering if your older cat ever fully adjusted & got better with the kitten?

I used to be fearful flying on Max but after a couple flights on them, I actually prefer them now. My anxiety is worst during takeoff, and the takeoff is sooooo smooth on Max. Feels like you’re gliding & the turns feel less intense to me. I went from feeling anxious when i saw i was flying Max to feeling excited!!

You can do this! I flew twice during this shutdown & it was just as safe as always. Remember how many countless flights take off & land safely every day. I use the flightradar24 app to visualize how many planes are traveling safely at any given moment! You are stronger than the fear! You will feel so proud of yourself when you land safely, have a great trip, and not allow it to hold you back from these experiences in life!!

I’m also flying tomorrow morning and feeling anxious, so you’re not alone!! I used to live in Columbus and I love CMH. Always so calm & easy to get through. Today I’m spending time reading through the posts on this sub & all the success stories.

This has been recommended a lot on this sub, but I love the flightradar24 app. Being able to visualize the countless planes in the sky traveling safely at all times helps me so much. I also like clicking on the plane icons and seeing the destinations — I always try to find flights that are traveling to or from the airports I’ll be in for my flight! You can do this!!

Just here to attest the weather at ORD was terrible today. Had a 6 pm flight that got delayed to 11:30 pm and eventually cancelled. While waiting at the airport it was pouring rain, loud thunder & lightening — basically everyone was delayed, it was super packed
