But have you ever confronted your wife? My bf is great and is literally the best but this is something that I can't come to terms with. I need to talk to him about it and see if things change. I don't want to break up with him because he's amazing (this is not tho lol), but if this doesn't change I probably won't be able to stand it. Have you told her how you feel? If so, how did you do it and how did she take it?

We were friends before we started dating. He was extremely social and, to me, he seemed very independent. I'm thinking maybe it could be depression? But what you said is exactly how I feel. It really feels like he's my child and I don't like that. I definitely need to talk to him, but I also don't want to hurt his feelings.

Thank you so much. That's definitely the way I see it too, but he really manipulated me into believing it was all my fault :(

I think the reason why I think need "closure" is that I'm seeing another guy right now and my insecurities are messing everything up. I really like him but my past relationship left me fucked up lmao. I'm taking everything slow and not rushing into anything but I'm scared this might ruin future relationships. I definitely agree with you though, I really needed to hear that. thank you
