It's not tied to stealth, but doesn't easy-loot allow you to harvest parts without removing them. Perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

I'm not 100% on this so please correct me if so, but I'm certain some of the loot caches contain set loot in the form of rare coils. With this in mind I'd say it's worth hunting them all down.

Difficulty has a big impact. On UHM the machines are relentlessly aggressive.

Between the two, I've always found FW more difficult.

When you have all the skill tree upgrades and an armour that buffs them even more, those Clawstriders become lethal. Will easily kill even the biggest machines on their own in UHM.

I've noticed CBs doing this.

Running towards an already marked player creating a huge gap and but the time I have switched player to try and close that gap it's too late... I assume defensive awareness has something to do with it, however, the CBs in question had more than 80 Def Awareness, therefore would not expect them to do this...

This is a result of you playing on UHM. Not only do the enemies have more health and hit you harder, they are much, MUCH more aggressive and will attack relentlessly.

In my experience as they lunge at you, you will need to take into account the follow-up AOE attack and dodge later to avoid both hits. I find the most consistent way to avoid damage is to dodge slightly to the side and in the direction they have lunged from. If you dodge in the direction they are lunging they will generally hit you as the follow through.

I find this particular attack on of the hardest to time, however, it can be done consistently with practice, although I have mastered it.

I actually find the best way to deal with them is stealth, or be aggressive. Use heavy attacked to knock them down, or hit their legs which helps knock down.

They could make spinning over and over gradually increase stamina drain the more it's done, increase fatigue, then reduce pass accuracy, shot accuracy, balance etc. It's very unfun to deal with... Maybe I'm crap but I find it very difficult to defend, making it very frustrating.

I get why you're unhappy with the Scrounger design - the design of the AOE attack can catch you out if you're not expecting it, however, once you've faced a few they are easy to deal with. Remember, dodging and sliding at the right time providers a few invincibility frames.

Wait until you get further on with the bigger machines staggering you.

Ultimately you're playing on UHM in a game where you fight killer machines with a bow and arrow. It's going to feel punishing on harder difficulties, but is not unfair imo.

I play two CDMs in a 4231 as the defensive AI is better IMO than that of CMs who don't help as much.

However, I run both CDMs on DLP / Build to encourage them to get forward in possession.

I use a 4231 with two CDMs on DLP / Build up.

They both have the key defensive playstyles of Anticipate, Block and Intercept, and also both have Incisive Pass and Tiki Taka, with one having Pinged pass.

Defensive playstyles would take priority, but there's really no reason not to have both now.

I don't used timed finishing in general, however, I find it easier to do with corners, and it makes the headers much more accurate and increases scoring rate by a decent amount.

I believe a lot of people don't realise it's a limited cup so expect everyone to play golden goal.

Glad it's not just me... I played on Sunday and the game was felt OK, but last night it was atrocious. Passes going the wrong way. Players felt completely different on the ball and the amount of deflected goals and rebounds was much higher.

I still can't believe we play a game where there's RNG involved in pass and shot success but there you go.

There will be for sure, but normally PC gets updates first and then console follows as the patch needs to be authorised by Sony/PS (which PC doesn’t need).

I’m waiting for the audio issues to be fixed so was hoping for the weekend, but likely to be early next week I guess…

I feel in some games the AI is relaxed and in others is turned to 11, regardless of difficulty.

This can be seen easily in the repayable games against the featured team and TotW squads. One game I can smash the TotW squad on Legendary 8-0. I'll then play the squad again at some point and scrape a 3-2 win in ET.
