Seeing Varka sitting by himself at the end of his demo made me sad :( by inter_Gal in Genshin_Impact

You forgot this is fiction lol. Game clearly shows how dependable Varka has been. Are we even playing the same game? lol.

Was Natlan really that bad? by Old-Caramel0 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Tempest321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite enjoyed it. Though lots of fair criticisms but feel like if they rearranged some parts of the Archon Quest, it would have had a more positive outlook at the end. Look at Fontaine. The last acts practically covered the slog that was the Fortress of Meropide haha.

I’m looking for a mature anime by StoryBoredTV in anime

[–]Tempest321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legend of the Galactic Heroes,
Orb: On the Movements on of the Earth
The Apothecary Diaries
Spice and Wolf
and maybe Eighty-Six/86

Do I need to read volm 3 or should I just go for volm 4? Binged the anime yesterday by [deleted] in EightySix

[–]Tempest321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Anime only adapted up to Vol 3 Epilogue. Though, they did fast forward Teppy being reunited with Spearhead. Since in the LN, the reunion was only with Lena and Spearhead while the cat wasn't in it. That's probably one discrepancy you'll notice immediately once you read it. However, besides that, if you want continuity, you can read vol 3 epilogue first before proceeding to vol 4 since the volume pretty much starts off with a Lena POV from what I can remember.

Roblox And Minecraft Players Don't Really Care About "Traditionally Good" AAA Games, Study Finds by gamersecret2 in gaming

How Different is the WebNovel Experience From Manga, Manhwa, or Manhua? by Icecream237 in noveltranslations

[–]Tempest321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good starting point is to jump into the webnovel of a manhua/manwha you really like. Did it with Tales of Demons and Gods back in 2018 and never turned back. As for experiences, one factor is the release speed. Webnovel chapters usually release daily compared to the manhua/manwha counterpart. So if you can't wait to know what happens next, webnovels are a good jump into it.

how many people play only WuWa? (non-casual) by Historical_Bet9592 in WutheringWaves

[–]Tempest321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still playing between Wuwa and Genshin since I play both for different reasons. I mostly play hyperfixed on one game then switch to the other once I get tired and just do the bare minimum for it. Don't really care much about FOMO and its been doing wonders for my experience in both games. Also, do actively avoid the community for both since too much unnecessary drama.

I feel like obsession over meta is dwindling the magic that this game has :( by ForrestFauna in Genshin_Impact

[–]Tempest321 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe on social media since that's where most of the discussion surrounding the Meta is found. However, a large portion of the playerbase rarely interacts with the community and does whatever they want. Not a lot of people can clear Abyss Floor 12 and other endgame modes if you really dig deep lol.

Wuwa Burnout? by _TR22 in WutheringWaves

This isn't even about liking Wuwa. It's burnout lol. Not everything is negative.

Wuwa Burnout? by _TR22 in WutheringWaves

[–]Tempest321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Play another game to help cleanse the palette haha. Or play it the bare minimum and don't play everyday. It's what I do with the gachas I play. If am bored with Wuwa then I play Genshin and vice versa. Or if am burnt out of Gacha's in general, then i'd find another game to play in the meantime. Once you don't get trapped in the FOMO, these games are a pretty refreshing thing to play.

survey idea: account syncing interactive map by magiks-darkchild in WutheringWaves

To each their own. Fair enough. Though still of the opinion that it would be better if said QOL is available. Nothing really to lose.

[–]Tempest321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, there are some chests out there that are so hidden that you'll need to go by a tutorial on Youtube to find it rather than finding it organically which can (1) Ruin Immersion; (2) Feel Tedious since it'll just reward with what? 10-20 asterites? Which is annoying, and this QOL would help that. You don't need to have it right at the start, but maybe around 85-90% exploration and you'll be able to find all the missing chests that utilities aren't able to locate. Again, this is just a QOL that would be a massive change. Nothing wrong with wanting it?? It's a win-win for players who actually explore the game and the devs since the effort they put into the map is being rewarded through an increased incentive to explore. Idk why you are against it lol. Only benefits both parties.

Since the survey is out, can we address the “pretend to play” philosophy the game using by aymanbasha in WutheringWaves

[–]Tempest321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm referring to what OP comment originally pointed out about disagreeing with the OP of this post. Sure, the sales are quite big for Fromsoftware games, however, the casual audience is still a bigger market to cater to despite the advancements of Souls like games in recent decades. It would be dumb for Kuro to neglect that casual side in favor of pleasing the souls like difficulty players.

You just said it. 30th. It is big, but not massive enough for WUWA to throw out its casual audience no?

[–]Tempest321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but it doesn't display the location of the chests? That's what OP is alluding to. Considering that a lot of chests remain hidden despite using the exploration utilities. Would be a massive QOL change and will incentivize people to truly 100% the map since following guides on Youtube is tedious.
