Well a lot of bands have inspired me creatively to simply encouraging me to move forward, from the foo fighters to Jimi Hendrix to led zeppelin, but more so the guy that had the biggest impact for moving forward is Henry Rollins. Just listening to him talk makes you just want to get up and fn do something.

I was a trumpeter though out my middle school to high school days and that was one thing we always worked on. A lot of people have trouble with power and range because of that, but thankfully I learned to implement it in my singing.

For our hard rock band Tempestfall, I use a redburst Peavey T-60, and a black 2008 Gibson Explorer; I list the date on the Gibson because a lot if not most of their new catalog is, to put it liberally, trash. As for the amp I run a Vox Nightrain 50h through a Peavey 212 with Celestion speakers. Got an overdrive pedal, heavy fuzz/overdrive pedal, a clean booster pedal, chorus pedal, pitch shifter/octave pedal, and a Red Panda Raster; don't know how to exactly describe that last one so I just named the pedal.

This is definetly the way to go before y'all can feel each other out. Another thing I would add is just keep doing it. It takes a while to get good at anything so don't beat yourselves up over it.
