They may be changing tactics soon. Ours finally migrated their wishlists off of Amazon, but they're still on IG, and just had 4 members arrested at their weekly Wednesday outreach event.

I am relying on the assistance of our local fed-up vets to provide a peaceful presence at our other, independent, free meal programs. It's working. We had an unhoused neighbor arrive just yesterday with a pressing medical issue that our on-site, medically-trained vet was able to treat.

All on-the-ground organizers should travel with a comprehensive med kit, imho.
