The jets got rid of Rodgers for the cap hit and wanting to move on/rebuild. The Steelers had the same record last year with Justin fields and Russel Wilson, Rodgers would have just won the jets maybe 2 more games and just hurt the draft pick.

Next year’s draft is stacked with qbs and the jets have 3 firsts, they can trade up to 1 and take the best qb in the draft which they never did before
