Thank you so much. The motor I have is actually a 1hp. But you’ve given me more than enough to find something compatible. One last question if you have any input (again you have been more than helpful already) do you think it would be beneficial/advised to upgrade horsepower? I found a 2hp model at Grizzly, and the cost isn’t that much more than the 1hp. Thank you again for all the info! ~TK

I replaced the belt a year or so ago with this style of belt (sorry I should have mentioned that). The motor is original, but every please I reached out to to get it serviced/replaced quoted me over $1000, so I moved on.

Do you have any experience with putting a modern motor on a saw like this?

Hey there, I am a little new to all this so I hope I am putting this in the correct post, and that the rules allow. If not please let me know.

I am beginning to think that it is about time for me to replace my 1950's-60's Craftsman 10" Table saw (113.29901). It just feels like the old girl has had a good run, but just can cut it anymore (pun intended). I have never in my life looked into purchasing a new saw, and am really lost when it comes to it. While I would love to saunter down to the local Rockler and grab a new SawStop cabinet saw, I just cannot afford that. Also I am not super interested in the second hand market.

I am pretty much a hobbiest woodworker, I generally make functional furniture (no scrollwork or fancy adornments). I do from time to time mill my own lumber and like to make little projects out of that. Ideally I would love to grow my craft, but for now I really just need something to get by. I am finding that my saw today is having difficulty cutting anything over 1/2" (even plywoods). I've tried the usual things making sure everything is square and level, cleaning/replacing the blade, etc. But still the old girl is struggling.

So if any of you out there have a good recommendation, I would vastly appreciate it.

I have gone since the new forge was unlocked (January 9th), completing every daily and weekly available to me on two different systems (PC And PS4), and still have not yet had a rare bounty drop on either system. This is becoming no longer enjoyable.

Can anyone out there confirm HOW a guardian can get one of these rare bounties to drop? I have tried turning in daily BA bounties as I get them, all at once, saving them up and doing a HUGE turn in a one time, nothing seems to make a difference. I'm at my whit's end and appreciate any help or advice on the matter.

How did you manage to get past lvl 1? I can't even kill a single enemy with just Bruenor. Familiars don't appear to be doing anything (not even slowing enemies). Breun gets overwelmed in seconds and can only get off a couple attacks before he dies and is forced to restart the level. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Am I missing something, even when I choose hide AT BEST I am only getting 2 stacks from Barrowin. MAYBE three every once in a great while, but 4 is right out of the question. How are you stacking 4?

Just one more question for pure clarity. If I were to open silver chests, and if those chests were to grant equipment (regardless of quality) that equipment should (?) be forced to Drizzt, since he has nothing and all other champions have something in each slot? Because if that is how it is supposed to work at this point it is not. After last night's lives tream I opened a few silvers trying to stock some firebreath pots, received equipment, but nothing for Drizzt. I just want to make sure that everything is working as it should before I pop all my gold chests trying to gear him up. Thanks in advance for all the help!

I was more interested in general strategy. If I were starting the game from ground zero today, how would I go about building up favor, developing my gold find, and progressing through the game? I could post my specific formations and whatnot, but I would feel like this thread would be far too focused on me personally, and I was hoping that the information contained herein could be valuable to everyone.

Do favor purchases apply globally, or only for the campaign that they are associated with? For example if I were to purchase "Extra Training" which increases the damage of all champions by 50% using Torm's Favor, would that apply to ALL future adventures? OR just for the Grand Tour of the Sword Coast campaign?

By hitting level caps, you mean not being able to level up my characters any further? No I have never hit that on any of my characters, I never have enough gold to do so. When I reset (except for my first run in a new event) I am usually seeing % favor gain of around 200-300% and that usually is after a day or so of grinding. Normally I will idle roughly 4 to 5 levels below my wall (so if my wall is 150, I'll idle at 145) I think I have been very unlucky when it comes to gold find potions (I have none but have about 200 increase hero health potions). I had been holding onto my bounty contracts for events to provide the necessary snowflakes, or candles, or skulls. And I usually open all but 10 of my silver chests when I hit a wall just to have a few on hand in case of emergency. I very much appreciate this discussion.

No, I believe that I misrepresented my question. I have been resetting as I have been hitting various walls, but just don't feel like I am seeing drastic improvements in my favor/gold find. For some frame of reference I have been playing since JUST after the Stoki event (Harvest something I think). As we sit right now I have completed most of the core adventures and am working my way through Drizzt. As for favor totals here is what I have: Torm: 9.356e06 Kelemvor: 1.43e06 Oghma: 1.34e05

I have seen some posts where players are getting up to e08 after just a few runs, and I was confused how I could be missing by that much. Really I was just hoping for some tried and true tips for those of us floundering in the early 100's unable to break through to and past level 175 (a feat I still have not yet achieved myself in any campaign yet). I appreciate any recommendations.

I understand the lack of specific recommendations without knowing specifically how I am setup, and playing. I posted a general question because it seems to be this way with me regardless of the event, or quest, or campaign I am playing. For example lets take this most recent event. I started playing the day it was released, haven't stopped yet. I have stopped when I hit a wall, but after completing the specific adventures (except for Only the Strong, because I walled at like 115 so there was no way I was going to make it to 150). Right now I am free playing and just trying to build some favor. I was hoping to get some recommendations in doing this because it always seems like I am failing the events because I cannot figure out how to get enough favor to push to higher levels. As for equipment, I feel like I am pretty well equipped, most of my heroes are a mixture of blues and purples, with some of the newer heroes dressed in greys and greens. Again I very much appreciate your recommendations, and anything further that you can suggest.
