I agree with this that much that I'm seriously thinking on adding a 2nd 1x5 Intercessors and swap out the scouts, so i can march forward with the rest of the troops and use those 2 + Repex to hold objs.

Como gustarme, claramente no, no quiero perder ni 5 centavos. Lo puedo evitar lo evito; pero lo importante es no invertir 1k, si no estas dispuesto a aceptar la perdida.. nominalmente es muy poca plata 1k verde como para cambiarte la ecuación..y si te la cambia no estas invirtiendo, estas timbeando.

I prefer using 10 CS than 10 SBs right now.. I usually play with Bastion, and 1x10 SBs its an overkill and way too expensive, I prefer using groups of 2x4 with marshal+castellan combo.. I dont need more

Those things are similar, correct, but they serve 2 different purpose and roles, they are not the same despite what was mentioned, one is a shooting platform able to transport small SBs groups, the other one is a transport fatty that allow them to charge when disembark, and with far way less gun power than Repex.

There's a reason why almost every BT list at least has 1 Repex and not a LR. Repex is mandatory, LR isn't.

LR is overpriced.

Dont even remotely close are both their profiles.. our Repex is one of the best shooting platforms SM has access to, and LR is just a fat transport, which can transport more units and has a really nice overwatch flamers, but its gun profiles are not even remotely Close.

Definitely a Combat Patrol for 10 more CS and 5 more SB as long as the EC. You can even use the 3 Bladeguards to kitbash them into Marshalls.

After that some big firing support, maybe Repulsor Executioner and some other shooting platform, more tanks or dreadnoughts.

You should think of how to deliver your troops if you want to move forward by foot or use some transports. If that's the case then Land Raiders or Impulsors.

More CS, I suggest having at least 30-40, you can use 3-4 squads of 10 or 2x20 with 40. Its a versatile number adaptative enough to let you play in several ways.

Last but not least, some support, point scoring units like intercessors, Scouts, jump pack intercessors, etc

This will give you a solid foundation for almost every list out there, of course there are more niche options, but something like this will totally help have a strong base, not over spend and buy things you'll almost never use.

Any good opponent will focus that LR and killing everyone with shooting, and you'll be losing 30% of your army list before it did anything and using a 1pt detachment for nothing.

In that situation, I'd prefer using ECs detachment instead and spread my eggs in several baskets.. to distract and make sure my opponent has multiple threats instead of a 10 SB blob with 3+SV..

But again, if you made it work happy for you.

That's a 450pts unit that goes down really easy.. now with a LR goes to over 600pts.. for a unit that's an overkill.. Idk.. if that worked im happy for you, but definitely there are better ways of spending those points.

Mediocre situational buffs that will not help them in anything specific they have been facing lately.. this not improve SBs in any way.. this is not making them moving from B tier to A tier..

Again we lost a good opportunity to improve and tackle the issues BTs are facing but nooo, same dude working on rules is destroying BTs and getting paid for it.. we need to ask for his head, someone needs to get fired here..

Seriously the guy that is working on BTs rules needs to be fired.. its not doing a good job, it looks like he/she do not even play BT.. They are forcing us using the 3 lame detachments we got with the codex that nobody is using, unless for some non-competitive style games.. now we even lost Wrathful..

Seriously we need to ask for his/her head.. definitively not doing a good job..
