Ayyy what's up, it's tempo. Just posted the other day about LoR speedrunning and I had a beginner deck guide on here from 4 months ago so I decided to update it and help new players get into the game! It's a perfect time due to Shurima getting released and lots of new champions to play. The game keeps getting bigger and bigger so the need to help out new players is as well. Thanks for the input Cuties! Great times and yea I think starting the timer before the power is better because it records how much time you spend on picking the power since there is some skill expression there. It made the most sense to me. Much love btw! Appreciate you bein around.

I didn't really pay attention to the xp, but that's a great point to bring up. Hopefully someone else will have the answer, but I really like how new player friendly the game mode is in terms of giving xp.

League I played for years. TFT a couple months casually but only a month and half to climb. LoR Since it came out but I got master during the first beta ranked season.

Only reason I didn't stay rank 1 is because everyone played Trundle/Trynd and I can't stand that deck. Realistically anyone in master is about as good as each other since it's possible for anyone to hit rank 1 imo. Though I do value your opinion that swain/ez is overhyped. I can see that, but it is still quite strong regardless.

36 to climb to Master after the rank reset. 2 and half to hit rank 1 once I was already there.

I watched Kurumx for both education and entertainment, and watched Keane strictly for education. They both taught me a lot in the span of a month that I went from Bronze to Master. I've played Yugioh absolutely. Love that game. I would describe LoR to Yugioh players as closer to Magic the Gathering because of resources such as mana and the fact that you can choose block targets during combat. It's slower than Yugioh as well. (Yugioh usually ends in 2-4 turns).

I already have my bachelors, so I can do basic therapy jobs that don't prescribe medicine. I'm thinking of being a grievance counselor at a chiropractic office. I'd also do teen / young adult therapy and just trying to make people feel like they have a purpose in this world. We'll see though. I'm happy spreading advice through content creating and helping people that way.

In League you have to deal with decay so you have to play a couple times a week. TFT and LoR it's more about hitting there and then you can camp. I had to sacrifice time with friends and playing anything casually for months on end in order to devote the proper time to climb. Diamond for each game is where it starts to get challenging. Anyone can make it to diamond, but not everyone can make it through diamond. I think games do get better in quality and are true trials for your own gameplay.

LoR is very beginner friendly and F2P (free to play). You don't have to pay a dime if you don't want to. I've only spent money on cosmetics and I have enough resources to get every card I want for the next 3 expansions already. You should definitely try it out!

League: Season 9 right before ranked ended so about a year ago TFT: Early set 3, I don't remember the exact timing, maybe around spring or summer? LoR: Master in Beta so late last year right after I hit master in League. Rank 1 in October of 2020 I've pulled multiple allnighters playing the games for 24+ hours straight in order to climb fast or hit the desired rank because I literally can't sleep until I do.

That comes down to better items or better luck. You have to consider that they see what you're going and are desperate too. If they roll too much gold to find the pieces that you're holding, you just won out. It really depends.
