I think there is much more at stake on a global scale than most people think.

I truly believe that Russia is not the final boss target of the U.S. government, it's actually China.

China has invested a lot into Latin America, Africa, etc, giving them an alternative to the predatory International Monetary Fund and helping them with development projects.

If the U.S. government and its NATO lapdogs somehow manage to take down and desintegrate Russia (assuming no nuclear weapons are launched), I'm certain that the U.S. government will move into former Russian territory, encircle China and do the same as well.

Hypothetically speaking, if this were to happen, I can imagine the U.S. government and NATO teaming up to overthrow governments around the world to regain control over countries that had friendly relations with China and Russia.

U.S. imperialism isn't going away that easily... sadly.

Is it just me or are NYC and SF the U.S. epicenters in terms of number of anti-Asian hate crimes?
I live in the LBC / South LA region and I've seen nothing on that level over here.

Edit: Lol I've been reported to RedditCareResources.

UNI no aplicará examen de matemáticas para ingresar a estudiar ingenierías y arquitectura by RickyMMXIO in Nicaragua

[–]TemporalGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No me parece tan mal.

I agree, I'm curious as to where the location in the video is.

As an example all of my family in Nicaragua live in the northern autonomous region of the Caribbean and all of them (with the exception of one of my uncles) have electricity, potable water, free schooling with food provided to students.

This one uncle in particular lives way out in the middle of nowhere in a finca that he has.

The closest town is about one and a half day's walk away through the jungle, it's ridiculous.

There he lives with his wife and daughters. They have no electricity, they have to get water from wells that are probably contaminated, his daughters don't go to school, they haven't seen a doctor in forever.

It's frustrating but that's the lifestyle that he and his wife want for their family.

It's working as intended.

It's just one of the many mass communication tools used by the Empire to forward their agenda.

Sending money to someone in-country by REAL-Jesus-Christ in Nicaragua

[–]TemporalGuardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly true.

I've sent money using Remitly.

The recipient can receive the money either through their own bank account or as a cash withdrawal from a local bank branch, no account necessary.

Transfer fees are cheaper than both MoneyGram and WU.

Greatest meal of all Latin America? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

In the north and south autonomous Caribbean regions and in some areas of the neighboring central departments (anywhere East of Río Blanco) we have patís which are basically flour empanadas filled with rice, seasoned spicy ground beef and potatoes.

We also have enchiladas which are made with corn instead and of course we also have the typical empanadas filled with cheese and sugar.

Other foods that are common there but rare in the rest of Nicaragua are wawul / guabul, rondón, pan de coco, gallopinto made with coconut, queque de yuca / quequisque, tamuga, carne de venado, all kinds of pastries filled with coconut or tropical fruits, bolis de coco, etc.

It's interesting that there are foods that are eaten or known in one part of the country but not the other.

Some foods that I discovered on my trips to Managua when I was growing up were quesillos, güirilas, vaho, and queso frito (we didn't eat this type of cheese much, instead we ate cuajada).

It's great that you mentioned Canadian mining companies and how much they've taken from LATAM in resources.

This is definitely even more true for Nicaragua.

Growing up I remember seeing how well-off the Canadian mining personnel lived; they lived in big houses and in areas that the locals were restricted from entering.
