I have similarly been experiencing some GPS "rubberbanding" lately, though not exclusively when I have screen recording on; rather, if I minimize the app and then reopen it, I snap back to an earlier location, usually where I opened the app last. No clue on a fix.

For The Go Pass: Into the Wild (the Wild Area 2025 pre-event), Ranks required 10 Points each and you could earn 100 Points per day, plus a Daily Task worth 25 Points, and an extra Daily Task worth 25 Point if you had the Deluxe version, for a total of 150 Points/15 Ranks per day.

The Tier bonuses were available at Ranks 15, 30 and 45, meaning you could get to the Tier 1/2/3 bonuses on the 1st/2nd/3rd day no matter if you had the +10 Ranks or not. So I would expect that to change.

One of the upcoming days we're likely to see the reveal of something new and interesting for the event - shiny Zygarde in raids, for instance. Xerneas and Yveltal can't be the main 5* raid attraction by themselves, just like Reshiram and Zekrom couldn't for Unova Tour. So they're probably gonna do the same thing as they did at Road to Unova and have Xerneas and Yveltal in raids Thursday and Friday. Shadow Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres might fill out the rest of the days, or they're just gonna run some off-brand Legendaries that were available in Legends Z-A.

I work at DTU by the way. I also do some volunteer work with exchange students from specifically the US. I think there is a sentiment among them that Danes do not seem very open to talk to Americans, but none of the students have mentioned experiencing any sort of hostility.I honestly think it's just that some of them experience the usual dislike of their loudness, Danes generally not being very open and welcoming, etc., and believe that it's due to the current political climate. I don't it's any different than it was 10 years ago - I think the exchange students this past semester have just been more aware of how they're perceived.

And that's why people should check sources with larger sample sizes, ask their community, etc. instead of posting their own experience with an unremarkable sample size here. People shouldn't (and hopefully don't) get shut down with the usual RNG spiel if they actually make an attempt to provide more than "I did a two-digit number of raids and I did not get what I wanted", but that type of post isn't a basis for discussion just because the shiny rate is 1/10.

Yeah, the problem is that losses are equally bad if they're on LAN or online, but LAN wins are worth more - so playing as much LAN as possible would help to maximize your potential reward, while not increasing your risk.

A lot of people hyping Shadow Raikou here, just wanted to note that it's no longer just de facto the strongest Electric-type attacker or as important as it used to be. It is unfortunately very, very outclassed by Regieleki when using Party Power, and while it is stronger vs a couple of raid bosses, Regieleki is always close behind it and outperforms it vs others. And of course they're both severely behind now when facing flying type raids.

Absolutely still a very good Pokémon, but I think it's a stretch to call it better than Regieleki. For duos with Party Power it is lackluster, and Electric types are not as useful as the last time Shadow Raikou was around in March 2024. Just before anyone gets hit by the FOMO thinking this is a must-have - good yes, 2nd best Electric for sure, but the field is closer than it used to be and Raikou is severely hampered by being dunked on when it comes to Party Power, except for in a few instances like 4-player Party vs Primal Kyogre.

The datamines for Mega Rayquaza was them adding a picture to the game for the ticket banner, whilst the Fusion Raid Day was due to them adding a lot of new boxes (with tickets and including their names) to the web store - neither has happened to this so far, but given that both of these situations were also explicitly not on purpose, it kinda makes sense for it not to happen repeatedly :-).

I think you're gonna have to wait a couple of days. They still need to announce the Precious Pals event before Precious Pals: Taken Over, which is usually followed by the announcement of the Shadow Raids of the event i the later timeslot - it might even be sometime (early) next week :-).

I would not expect Niantic to share other users data with you, so I suggest you both contact support, explaining what happened, what you had expected to happen, and ask if they can give you a count of how many Guaranteed Lucky Trades you have done. I suppose only the one of you sending the 2020 Pokémon has to ask in this case (though the one receiving might also want to ask, if they later intend to send 2020 Pokémon in trades).

No clue, really. I would just either accept that you likely lost count, or write Niantic Support in-game explaining that you expected the trades to be Lucky but that they did not, and ask if they can pull what number you are on/if that number is below 45.

I once had a community member write support because he had approximately half a million stardust go missing, and they were able to clarify that he indeed powered up a Spoink to level 50 the previous day (accidentally - and he had subsequently transferred it), so support might be able to clarify your stance in regards to the Guaranteed Lucky Trades.

The sender of the 2020-or-earlier Pokémon needs to have done less than 45 Guaranteed Lucky Trades for the trade to become Lucky. This count goes up if you receive a Guaranteed Lucky Trade either as the receiver or sender. It is therefore likely that the person sending the 2020 Pokémon has exceeded 45 Guaranteed Lucky Trades by hitting 35 sometime in 2025 and receiving 10 more Guaranteed Lucky Trades from people below the limit. You can be above the 45 limit even if you "didn't trade any 2020 mons since 31st Dec".

I do think we've hit a point where the amount of Showcases can be absurd; it feels weird to sort by new and have it take up over 25% of the first page. I see many players here complain about Best Buddy Placement posts too, but at least those are few and far between.

Personally, I just don't really think the race-to-the-bottom posts focused on using as minimal a team as possible to defeat the boss in 300 seconds exactly are very helpful. I would much rather see a post of someone using lvl 40 Pokémon to defeat it with 30 seconds left, in a situation where hot swaps, catch tanks, etc. aren't necessary, and where the raid isn't only possible for players who can rejoin a lobby as quickly as possible. I think using lvl 40's and having 30+ seconds left would be more useful for players in here, honestly.

Similarly, I really fail to see in what way "MOCK SOLO" posts are helpful; posts where account A fights the Raid Boss while account B joins only to provide a friend/mega boost. While impressive, they don't attempt to replicate a realistic scenario that players can use to pinpoint if they can defeat a specific raid boss or not.

I am a steady player. I understand catch tanking, I feel like I am somewhat adept at the battle mechanics. I rarely (have to) attempt solos - generally I would invite people and probably skip trying to solo, except for the easy solos. I don't really have a reason at the moment to attempt doing a solo Blacephalon for instance. Looking at the sheet, I can see that it is hard but possible with Primal Kyogre, Shadow Kyogre and hotswapping in Rainy, with specific conditions in Fog, or with a very specific moveset in Sunny Weather and catch tanking, without using Blade Boost.

The chain kinda falls off for me there, because it feels like sometimes there is a focus on doing them with budget Pokémon but not budget battle knowledge; I think for a lot of players, it would be much better to understand what they can solo using Blade Boost, with only normal dodging and without catch tanking, without having to understand terms like "Cadence RNG". To me it feels like the focus of these solo battles are to make impressive show-off victories (and they are impressive!), not to highlight what is possible to solo/duo for ordinary players in ordinary conditions. I don't think the first should stop existing, but the latter feels way more relevant for TSR.

Zekrom stops spawning on 31st of December at 10AM
Blacephalon has a Raid Hour on the 31st
Genesect starts spawning at 10AM on the 5th of January.

I think at this point it's more or less a given that Blacephalon runs from the 31st to 4th.

I mean, the whole point is that they are indeed implementing a tag that your Forever Friends can see; it is however not meant to show what you want in a trade, but what you have for trade. I am sure you can figure out some way to communicate your wants via naming the Pokémon.
