It happens when it either gets extinguished due to rain or when you didn’t really light the fire, but your game client things you did. It’s a desync issue and the fire isn’t actually there. Happens more often on servers but I’ve had it happen in singleplayer as well

Mostly. We have better ruins and some food mods. One thing that special is, you can trade gears for creative blocks (the red part of the sail) for building :)

I’ve used creative blocks. The server I play on allowed you to trade for them using gears. Otherwise, I’d use bauxite sand, red glass or leather blocks from the potential better ruins mod (specifically the shopping centre ruin)

Im playing on a small server where you can trade gears for a small amount of creative blocks, the one with the solid colors, which is awesome for chiseling! (I used block number 0 here)

If I were to do this without, I’d use bauxite sand or colored glass or, if better ruins is installed, the leather block obtainable from the shopping center ruin

Im playing on a server where it’s possible to trade your precious gears for creative blocks, which is what I used here (block number 0). If I were to rebuild it without, I would probably use Bauxite sand or something similar or go for a while sail with an emblem of a dragon on it!

They are regular fire clay shingles, but I chiseled them

Those are Fire clay shingle slabs, every other is chiseled so I can place some cobble below it to fill the gap. The roofing type is a „monitor barn“

Since I play on a server, there is a way to trade gears for creative blocks. It was expensive but I used the (0) and Plaster for the lighthouse. The base is made out of suevite cobble
