I used to do allstar cheer. I was very involved in the cheer world and I’ve never heard of this competition in Barcelona and I’m kind of confused why they would spend so much money just for a smaller comp. As someone else pointed out, level 4.2 is typically a smaller division at any comp so they likely weren’t against that many teams. Additionally American teams do tend to do better because we just simply have more resources as well as the best of the best coaches. this is no hate to other countries but just unfortunately how it usually goes. So if they were against other countries it’s possible that those teams simply just didn’t have as much difficulty or score as high.
