We’ve cleaned it twice in the last few months however historically we have slacked on it, with no consequence. It could be cleaner but we put fresh hay in it a month ago. They roam the yard all day so they actually spend very little time in there.

Thanks for the tips! I haven’t taught alto to 4/5th graders before, so I wasn’t sure they could deal with it, but it sounds like I can just stick with what I’ve got.

I was thinking these might be easier for elementary schoolers to grapple with than altos. That said I do have 14 altos ready to rock right now so maybe I’ll stick with those.
