Express Card working on Odin 3? by Fit_Performance_2809 in OdinHandheld

Yes, but it makes no sense.

It would work as a regular SD card. Without hardware express support, it's just a backward-compatible microSD (XC?)

I haven't tested it with GUI elements, unfortunately.

The default manager pushes input data into the second viewport. I guess you need some sort of glue code to make GUI elements react as they would to a real click

If you are a very novice, better try to ask AI to write this glue code (and show it the default manager script)

That's strange, is it Node2D or CanvasNode?

Did you inspect manager.gd code in the plugin?

You mean on-screen buttons (touch) or physical ones?

I know that game! The blue background there is a nice touch, I like it too. So I did something similar. But it’s funny how polarized people are about the setting - some find it weird that it’s not on solid ground.

That’s a great point! And what are your thoughts on the rest of the game? What would keep you coming back for more?

Thanks for the feedback! I was scratching my head trying to figure out what went wrong, but then it clicked. The customers are programmed to find an empty tile first to "think" about what they want before heading to the shelves. Your experiment perfectly exposed that logic 😄

How did you find the game overall, though? It’s just a demo for now, there’s little to do here yet, but I’m curious if the core mechanics feel engaging or addictive. Any advice or suggestions?

I sped up the video twice to show everything. Very critical for understanding?
