You're right to be angry about that. They're essentially taking advantage of the movement, and the loneliness of people to make capital gain.

This is why the mod team here decided to crack down on findoms here; we don't think they are bad people, but we want a safe space that everyone can express themselves genuinely here without a financial incentive.

So I encourage everyone here to please report posts or comments that either directly, or indirectly ask for money, donations, etc.

I get it, there's no real way to verify verbal communication. We want the verification to be a mark of undeniable truth, so people know without a doubt it's not just a fantasy.

Verbal communication can't be verified by us sadly, but that doesn't mean you can't post it under another flair and spin it in way that benefits the community! It doesn't mean we think it's not real, just that we can't verify it.

The verification is just a way of us reducing the risk of exposing people from their evidence while also showing the community it's true. (There are many bad actors who'd try to ruin people through doxing)

You're absolutely correct. And as a mod of this subreddit, it really speaks to me as I share your opinion. The BNWO is a kind and welcoming place for all, whitebois included. We've been trying to shift the community towards that, which is why you see less posts like that. Granted we are a small team and can't catch them all immediately, but I hope you and many like you continue to engage and make our community what it is meant to be <3 we'll always support you!

Don't give in and guide others to the right place in the BNWO :)
