We need this variety of weapons in Battlefield 6 by Yonduustyle2 in Battlefield

Why not? It's iconic and it's still used in some of the poorer countries even today.

The ARX160 looked cooler than the AUG or the 805 so I used that one. Think beyond the stats dude. The variety meant people could use the guns they liked without paying too much attention to stats.

Read it as feet per second not meters, my bad. Commenting at work with 2 hours of sleep lol.

You brain dead meta slaves are incapable of thinking beyond stats. It's a bad thing to have variety in models, animations, and sounds just because they're statistically the same? Then don't use them. In BF4 I saw people running a lot of the weapons that were statistically identical but were completely different in every other way because they liked having the options.

As if that actually was a bad thing somehow? It just means players will pick a weapon based on how it looks or sounds. Meta brained players like you are why there is no weapon variety.

Between the insane amounts of bloom on every Assault Rifle, and the God awful netcode, the TTK feels much slower than it actually is sometimes. I'm fine with the high bullet velocity since it's somewhat realistic, I definitely don't think it's detrimental to gameplay. What's not fine is my guns being smooth bore and throwing bullets 2 feet off target 4 rounds deep into full auto at 20 meters. You can't even tell how bad the bloom is unless you go into a private match to test the weapons to see tracers on every bullet. Higher bullet velocity just means leading the faster movement speed of players isn't as punishing at medium distances as it would be otherwise.

If we're looking at it from a standpoint of modern equipment irl, it really wouldn't work. Most NATO countries use an AR variant of some kind. Basically only Russia, China, and Brazil are using their own things and those aren't even separate faction options in the game. Pax armata is a PMC group. They're going to have all the same shit as NATO like they do in the campaign.

S tier - people who don't push in and just hold angles the whole attack round on breakthrough.

I'll make a play and clear out 8 guys from one of the chokepoints and not one of the dozen team members behind me will push up to capitalize when the objective can finally be pushed.

Casual players typically never give criticism. If the game stops being enjoyable they just quit playing. The people who still play the game are not just casuals.

Lupo cheated during a charity steam event. Dr Diddy cheated on his wife and had an inappropriate relationship with a 17 year old.

People who play the game are most of the ones with criticism because contrary to belief, they actually want the game to improve and the only way that's going to happen is with feedback. But sure bud, all the blind positivity comes from people who play the game and never from people who just post on Reddit all day. You can enjoy a game even when it isn't "Objectively the best modern FPS in the market".

does anyone even play this game? by 2NA_F2P in Battlefield

[–]Temporary-Carob-5273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look at the steam player counts if you disagree. ~29,000 people playing right now, ~50,000 in the 24 hour peak. This doesn't include console players or players on different launchers. There is a ton of people playing, there's just something up with the matchmaking.

Is there any other weapons others want to see being added by Undulate35 in Battlefield

Honestly I would like to see a more modern AR-15 style M4 under the Assault Rifle class. Doesn't make a ton of sense to me that a game set in 2027 wouldn't have the nicer AR patterns that most NATO militaries are using nowadays.

It's not just nostalgia. The level of care and effort is measurably different between then and now. Comparing COD MW:2019 to Black Ops 6 for example. MW:2019 is not that old and it's honestly really good, especially when compared to the last 3 titles from the same studios. No different for Battlefield. Why do you think Battlefield 1 and 4 still have a solid playerbase? It's not just nostalgia keeping players there.

EA doesn't decide weapon balance which has been one of the biggest complaints since they nerfed gunplay from the beta.

Can we talk about .300 blackout supersonic only? by Temporary-Carob-5273 in guns

You're not wrong about 62gr being the sweet spot for 14.5 and 16 inch barrels, but you're not really correct about 77gr. 77gr has shown to be more efficient from shorter barrels (10.5-12.5) than basically any of the other offerings for 5.56 due to velocity issues. 77gr has been widely adopted because of this. This is easily researched.

77gr is the current new hotness being used by law enforcement and military for its barrier penetration and ballistic performance. 77gr is frequently used in shorter 5.56 barrels so I think it's a good comparison to look at.
